This position leads the design and execution of regulatory-grade and commercial RWE studies to support clinical evidence needs. Working with key stakeholders, the role will execute on key RWE deliverables and establish standards and best practices for RWE study design and reporting as an essential part of the clinical evidence generation strategy for Stryker&rsquo;s product portfolio.<ul><li>
Lead design and execution of RWE studies in close collaboration with internal stakeholders from Clinical Strategy, Medical Affairs, and Clinical Data Science.</li><li>

The Division of Community and Public Health is seeking a Senior Epidemiologist to serve as the Chief, Bureau of Data Modernization and Interoperability (BDMI). This is a senior level professional position that would play a central role in the integration of epidemiology, informatics and population-based surveillance data. This position will lead the modernization, integration, and interoperability of critical public health data systems to ensure timely, accurate and actionable public health data exchange.

<ul><li>Lead modernization efforts for public health data systems, with a focus on Reportable Disease Management Systems, Immunization Information System (IIS), Syndromic and other surveillance systems and aligning projects with the CDC Data Modernization Initiative.</li>

 3. Manage the data collection and determine the sample size for the research studies.
 
 
 4. Maintain dashboards to visualize data utilizing.
 
 
 5. Update computer data file structure, programs, and maintain complex statistical databases.
 
 
 6. Assist in developing the implementations and monitoring of the performance monitoring plans and systems for gathering, reporting, and analyzing performance data for impact and sustainability of project implementation
 
 
 7. Develop reports of analytical initiatives to stakeholders in cross functional departments.
 
 
 8. Prepare training material for senior management,
 
 
 9. Ensure accuracy and compliance of data and deliverables with comprehensive policies and processes.
 
 
 10. Draw conclusions and make recommendations from the various sources of data and information available.
 
 
 11. Perform other duties as requested to meet ongoing organizational needs.
 
 
 
 Essential Education:
 
 
 
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Biostatistics/Epidemiology/Public Health/Health Economics/Health Informatics/or related healthcare field.
 
 
 Masters in related field preferred. *Note: Existing Job holders shall be exempted from the above educational requirements.
 
 
 
 Essential Experience:
 
 
 
 Minimum 5 years of relevant health economics, strategic, analytical and management experience preferred.
 
 
 OR Masters in related field with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
