He or she will work alongside the Senior Analyst and Associates in all aspects of the research process, from idea generation to modeling, including but not limited to the following:</p><ul><li>
Write industry and company research reports, including earnings results, forward-looking thematic pieces, and event-driven updates</li><li>
Build and maintain financial models and drug category market models</li><li>
Analysis of industry macro trends and company financial results</li><li>
Build relationships and facilitate information flow with contacts at covered companies</li><li>
Seek out new, value-added and/or unusual sources of information</li><li>
Monitor news flow and proactively flag stock-impacting developments, particularly when the Senior Analyst is traveling</li><li>
Communicate the team&rsquo;s investment recommendations to sales, trading and institutional investor clients</li><li>

Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree or equivalent years of experience; advanced degree in life science discipline or relevant industry-experience is a plus</li><li>
Ideal candidate would have 1-4 years of experience in biopharma equity research, buy side experience or investment banking experience</li><li>
Strong writing and financial modeling skills are required</li><li>
Demonstrated interest in public equity markets and fundamental research</li><li>
Academic background in a life science field and should understand economics, macroeconomic factors and policy</li><li>
