<ul><li>Obtains or assists in the collection of specimens for diagnostic or waived tests. Ensures accuracy of all labels and timely transfer of specimen.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Retrieves medication from pharmacy, storage room, or tube system and delivers to licensed staff member as instructed.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Assists with patient preparation for surgery or other procedure.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Assists patients with activities of daily living to include eating and drinking, bathing, shaving, oral care, grooming, and elimination. Changes bed linens as needed.</li></ul>

Freestanding ER Clinical Nurse Leader RN

The Intake Nurse Case Manager (&ldquo;NCM&rdquo;) is an integral member of Axiom&rsquo;s Nursing Department (&ldquo;Nursing&rdquo;). The NCM is primarily responsible for performing telephonic medical case management for work-related and non-work-related injuries and illnesses. The NCM will be accountable for providing first aid recommendations to injured employees, keeping detailed records on employee injuries and communications in Axiom&rsquo;s database, and properly communicating any pertinent/necessary information with Axiom&rsquo;s clients. It is the responsibility of the NCM to maintain their home state RN/BSN license and obtain/maintain additional licenses as requested by management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to respond effectively to emergency situations.

<li>Deliver patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation

<li>Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
</li>
<li>Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts
</li>
<li>Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience
</li>
<li>At least 1 year of ER travel experience required
</li>
<li>BLS (Basic Life Support) certification &ndash; required
</li>
<li>ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification &ndash; required
</li>
<li>Strong skills in IV therapy, ventilator care, and telemetry monitoring
</li>
<li>Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English
</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">Preferred Qualifications</h3>

<li>TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
</li>
<li>ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
