Position Overview As an AV Technician, you will support, operate, and maintain advanced audio-visual systems and media equipment across office locations and offsite venues. You will play a critical role in delivering seamless Zoom-based live streams and hybrid events, including town halls, executive off-sites, and company-wide gatherings. You will act as an escalation point for AV-related technologies, oversee system health, support event operations, and contribute to continuous improvements across AV services and infrastructure. This role includes participation in office builds, expansion efforts, and upgrades, while working closely with internal stakeholders, AV integrators, and event coordinators. What You'll Do <ul> <li>Provide on-site AV and streaming support for hybrid and in-person events including town halls, hackathons, team gatherings, and executive off-sites</li> <li>Install, configure, and operate professional media equipment including monitors, speakers, cameras, lighting, and AV racks</li> <li>Act as a technical escalation point for AV technologies including Zoom Rooms, NEAT Boards, Q-SYS, studio hardware, digital signage, and wayfinding systems</li> <li>Perform routine system health checks, monitor AV infrastructure, and troubleshoot performance issues</li> <li>Maintain and create technical documentation and Knowledge Base articles to empower IT and support teams</li> <li>Participate in the design and execution of office AV installations, upgrades, and expansions</li> <li>Coordinate with third-party AV vendors and manage vendor SLAs and support contracts</li> <li>Offer user training and guidance to staff on AV systems and tools</li> <li>Provide support during incident response and equipment outages, ensuring minimal event disruption</li> <li>Maintain a proactive and service-oriented approach to identifying and implementing process improvements</li> <li>Contribute to the setup and support of special events or temporary AV installations, including domestic travel as required</li> <li>Be available for occasional after-hours or weekend support for high-visibility events</li> </ul> What You Need to Succeed <ul> <li>6+ years of hands-on experience supporting and operating AV systems in enterprise or event environments</li> <li>Proven ability to support complex AV setups for hybrid live events</li> <li>Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure in a live event setting</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support executive stakeholders</li> <li>Familiarity with streaming tools such as ZoomISO, ZoomOSC, vMix, Bitfocus Companion, and Zoom Webinars</li> <li>Comfortable transporting and setting up AV hardware; able to lift and manoeuvre equipment as needed</li> <li>Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation and Knowledge Base content</li> </ul> Desirable Criteria <ul> <li>Expertise in Zoom platforms, Google Workspace, Neat, Q-SYS, Logi, and AV-over-IP technologies</li> <li>Certifications such as Q-SYS Level 1/2, AVIXA CTS, or equivalent vendor training</li> <li>Experience with studio production tools (e.g., ATEM switchers, NDI, Dante audio)</li> <li>Understanding of AV system design, layout, and integration best practices</li> <li>Experience with asynchronous video tools and platforms such as Loom, Zoom Events, or similar</li> <li>Proficiency with Canva, Keynote, and Google Slides for presentation and event support materials</li> <li>Background supporting large-scale office fit-outs, build-outs, or tech upgrades</li> <li>A proactive, agile mindset focused on innovation and service improvement</li> </ul> Belonging at EOS At EOS, we believe that diversity drives innovation and inclusion fuels growth. POSITION SUMMARY 
Verify that AV equipment needed is in the inventory before event. Set-up, operate, and troubleshoot all equipment, devices, and systems. Ensure all equipment is fully operational, repair/clean when necessary. Tape down/dress loose wire/cable. Label broken equipment. Check delivered equipment and room set-up against Banquet Event Order. Communicate additions or deletions to flowsheets. Break-down, remove, and secure equipment. Set-up and maintain property&rsquo;s portable audio system. Operate and maintain house audio system. Assist and instruct guests/customers regarding proper usage/operation of AV equipment. Up-sell AV services. Monitor equipment operation. Read, understand, and adhere to Marriott Visual Productions (MVP program) SOP book. 
Assist management in hiring, training, motivating and coaching employees; and serve as role model and first point of contact of the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process. Follow company policies and procedures. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions; and complete safety training and certifications.
