This senior-level interim role plays a key part in managing and shaping a diverse property portfolio to support service delivery, long-term financial resilience, and wider community objectives.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Lead a team of Chartered Surveyors and property information specialists, ensuring effective operational delivery across estates management, valuations, and property records.</li> <li>Oversee high-value and complex property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, lease events, and asset valuations.</li> <li>Provide strategic property advice, covering areas such as estate optimisation, planning, rating, and compensation.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with relevant statutory frameworks and professional standards, including RICS, CIPFA, and IFRS.</li> <li>Represent the organisation in external negotiations and partnerships, supporting the achievement of key objectives.</li> <li>Promote a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, and innovation within the team.</li> </ul> <p>About You:</p> <p>You'll be a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) with:</p> <ul> <li>Significant post-qualification experience in estates and valuation, ideally with exposure to public sector portfolios.</li> <li>Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.</li> <li>Strong commercial insight and the ability to manage projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence a range of stakeholders.</li> <li>A proactive approach to maintaining professional standards and driving service improvement.</li> </ul>
