As the Bank President and CEO, the objective is to maintain strong safety and soundness ratings coupled with steady growth and performance in all areas of the bank to include lending, payments, deposit, compliance, operations, and wealth management. In addition to leading the bank, the FCB President is a member of the FCFS Executive Leadership Team (ELT). As a member of ELT, the successful candidate will contribute to the development and execution of enterprise-level strategic themes and objectives while advocating for the Bank as a key cornerstone of the enterprise value proposition.
The Bank President and CEO will also be a member of the Bank&rsquo;s Board of Directors. The position builds solid relationships with both the FCB and the FCFS Board of Directors. The position requires participation and presentation of business updates at the FCB and FCFS Board of Director&rsquo;s meeting and other committees as assigned. Additional duties include Chairperson of the Director&rsquo;s Loan Committee (DLC), Asset Liability Committee (ALCO), and Compliance Committee. 


Reporting Relationship
The Bank President and CEO reports to the President and CEO of FCFS. He or she will lead and coach a client-focused team of highly qualified banking professionals to achieve annual business plan objectives and value-added performance targets in accordance with the regulations, policies, and guidance of the ELT and the FCB Board of Directors. Incumbent must be a mature, professional individual able to address problems and recommend solutions to resolve business, client and/or personnel issues. 


What will you do in this role?

<li>Develop and implement a comprehensive Bank Strategy in support of the company&rsquo;s Big Audacious Goal of being THE personal financial coach of our nation&rsquo;s military families. Provides the vision, direction, and guidance to stakeholders and enterprise leadership to evolve and grow the bank.</li>

Education

<li>A bachelor&rsquo;s degree in finance or economics is required. A master&rsquo;s degree or graduate school in banking is preferred. Strong credit training is essential.</li>

Work Experience

<li>15 to 20 years in commercial or consumer banking with extensive background in financial institution management.
</li><li>Minimum of 10 years or more in a senior management or C-suite level position.

</li></ul>Contract Management and Negotiations
<ul><li>Oversee the drafting, review, and negotiation of major contractual agreements, such as vendor contracts, partnership agreements, and licenses.
</li><li>Manage the company's contract administration processes to ensure compliance with internal policies and legal requirements.
</li></ul>Litigation Oversight
<ul><li>Oversee all lawsuits and legal issues and, if appropriate, coordinate with outside counsel who represent the organization, as necessary. Serve as the primary liaison between CCSWW and outside counsel.
</li><li>Draft and manage all settlement strategies and documents.
</li><li>Represent the organization in responses to claims filed with investigations from federal, state, and local government entities such as, but not limited to, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Washington State Human Rights Commission, the Washington State Department of Labor &amp; Industries, and the Office of Civil Rights, in conjunction with Agency/System leaders as appropriate.
</li></ul>SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
<ul><li>Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
</li><li>Active license to practice law in the State of Washington or in any jurisdiction of Untied States, as long as the candidate is eligible for a limited license to practice in-house in the State of Washington.
</li><li>A minimum of 15+ years of relevant experience, including law firms and in-house roles.
</li><li>Ample experience in complex litigation, dispute resolutions, and contract negotiations.
</li><li>Proven experience in employment and labor law, corporate governance, risk management, and compliance.
</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
</li><li>Outstanding negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
</li><li>High level of business acumen and strategic thinking.
</li><li>Discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
</li><li>General knowledge of the Catholic Church and CCSWW&rsquo;s relationship with/to the Archdiocese of Seattle.
</li><li>Understand Catholic Social Teachings and CSCWW&rsquo;s mission and values of serving individuals, children, families, and communities struggling with poverty and the effects of intolerance and racism.

 10&ndash;15 years&rsquo; experience in corporate finance with deep exposure to project finance, debt structuring, M&amp;A, and capital markets.

 <li>
 At least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven track record in renewable energy is essential, ideally solar.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in the Middle East and/or South Africa is highly valued.
 </li>

 Strong negotiation skills, strategic mindset, and ability to operate in high-growth, fast-paced environments.
