ECCO Gulf Majorel Qatar is seeking an experienced Financial Auditor to join our team in Qatar. This role demands a detail-oriented and analytical professional who will ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial statements and procedures according to industry standards. As a Financial Auditor, you will perform rigorous evaluations and audits, contributing to the company's financial integrity.<ul><li>
Prepare the annual audit plan based on risk for management, submit it to the Director for approval, and prepare audit result reports.</li><li>
Monitor compliance with the implementation of laws, regulations, and decisions governing the work.</li><li>
Review financial instructions, propose necessary amendments, and monitor their implementation.</li><li>
Monitor financial and accounting activities, disbursement documents, and recording procedures in accounting records, ensuring compliance with approved rules.</li><li>
Assess risks related to financial and administrative auditing and propose mitigation measures.</li><li>
Follow up on required corrective actions from concerned administrative units based on audit results, and prepare periodic reports.</li><li>
Ensure accuracy of record-keeping and the integrity of applied procedures.</li><li>
Follow up on the results of internal and external audit reports and provide appropriate recommendations.</li></ul>
Required Profile

We are looking for a candidate with a solid background in finance and auditing, complemented by acute analytical skills and attention to detail. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Financial Accounting or Business Administration.</li><li>
Certification as a CPA or CIA is an Advantage.</li><li>
Proven experience as a Financial Auditor with a minimum of 10 years in a similar role.</li><li>
Preference for candidates with good experience in financial and accounting work related to Government.</li><li>
Strong understanding of financial reporting and regulatory requirements.</li><li>
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.</li><li>
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.</li><li>
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.</li><li>
Native Arabic (spoken &amp; written).</li><li>

Risk Assessment and Audit Planning:<ul><li>Participate in risk assessment activities to identify significant audit areas and develop audit plans tailored to the client's specific risks and objectives.</li><li>Assist in determining audit scope, materiality thresholds, and sampling methodologies based on assessed risks and regulatory requirements.</li></ul>5.
