We&rsquo;re looking for a passionate, strategic communicator to join the J.P. Morgan Payments Communications Team, a part of the broader J.P. Morgan Commercial &amp; Investment Bank (CIB) Communications team to support our executive speaker program.
As a External Communications Manager Vice President within Commercial &amp; Investment Bank, you will support the global Payments Communications Team to support the coordination and execution of our executive speaker program for the Payments business, working in close partnership with internal partners, business stakeholders and subject matter experts. As a creative thinker and driven communications professional you will help steer a critical program that positions our executive-level speakers and subject matter experts through speaking engagements at key industry events. In addition, you will manage executive speaker support, including content development and project management, to position and train speakers leveraging thought leadership and in alignment with Payments business priorities.
Job responsibilities<ul><li>
Lead research, planning and speaker proposal submissions for executive-level speakers and subject matter experts at key industry and third-party conference events and conferences.
</li><li>Create engaging thought leadership topics, session content and messaging to lead engagement, brand awareness and action in alignment with J.P. Morgan Payments business priorities.</li><li>
Manage project plans and timelines for executive-level speakers and subject matter experts in alignment with key event and conference calendar.</li><li>
Conduct competitive analysis, social listening, and industry and customer experience to inform executive speaker program strategy.</li><li>
Lead end-to-end executive speaker support for Payments business leaders, including preparation, training, and messaging.</li><li>
Work with internal partners, including Payments Marketing and Payments Events teams, to embed executive speaker program in broader event and conference presence, including pre-, during and post-event strategy and amplification.</li><li>
Ensure content adheres to control, audit, legal and compliance requirements.</li><li>
Project manage workload, track and report progress, deliver against deadlines.</li><li>
Draw on Payments, as well as CIB Communications, resources to ensure strategic alignment with the company&rsquo;s priorities.</li><li>

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in journalism, communications or relevant field of study.
</li><li>6 plus years of experience in communications or marketing within the technology/fintech industries at large, matrixed organizations.</li><li>
Passionate storyteller with ability to communicate clearly and concisely through superb written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>

<li>Experience leading others and/or coaching and developing other communications professionals.</li>
<li>Strategic thinker with the ability to drive programs from inception to completion.</li>

<div>The Communications &amp; Content Manager is a hands-on functional leader who has an aptitude to understand NCM&rsquo;s business and multi-year strategic-plan and shape, execute, and evolve NCM&rsquo;s internal and external communications in direct support our destination state and core values. This role goes beyond tactical messaging to ensure communication actively drives business growth, organizational alignment, and cultural health.

Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Operations, the Communications &amp; Content Manager partners internally with executive leadership and people leaders and collaborates with cross-functional teams to translate strategy, change initiatives, and organizational priorities into clear, compelling, and actionable communications.

Externally, this role focuses on communicating company-level messages to customers and key stakeholders&mdash;such as organizational updates, strategic direction, and leadership perspectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Communications Leadership
<ul><li>Own and evolve NCM&rsquo;s internal and external communications strategy and campaigns, ensuring alignment with the organization&rsquo;s destination state, values, and multi-year strategic plan.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on enterprise messaging, organizational change, and how communication can accelerate adoption and results.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Translate complex strategies, priorities, and change initiatives into clear narratives that resonate across diverse employee and stakeholder audiences.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Anticipate communication risks and opportunities associated with growth, transformation, and organizational change.</li></ul>

Internal Communications &amp; Employee Engagement
<ul><li>Design and execute comprehensive internal communication campaigns that inform, engage, and align employees around strategy, priorities, and performance.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Own, curate content and continuously improve internal communication channels (e.g., SharePoint, town halls, leadership updates, newsletters), ensuring relevance, clarity, and accessibility without overwhelming employees with volume.</li></ul>

Qualifications

<ul><li>Proven experience advising senior leaders and executives on communication strategy and messaging.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Strong experience designing communications for organizations undergoing growth or transformation.</li></ul>
