Job Description 
<ul><li>
Lead and manage all fabrication shop activities including structural steel, piping spools, skids, and equipment supports.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, welding procedures (WPS), and ADNOC standards.</li><li>
Develop and implement fabrication schedules aligned with overall project timelines.</li><li>
Monitor fabrication progress and productivity; take corrective actions to meet targets.</li><li>
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, QA/QC, planning, and construction teams to ensure smooth workflow.</li><li>
Ensure strict implementation of HSE standards and safe working practices within the fabrication yard.</li><li>
Oversee material control, traceability, and storage to prevent shortages or delays.</li><li>
Manage subcontractors and shop supervisors to maintain quality and efficiency.</li><li>
Ensure all inspection and testing requirements (NDT, dimensional checks, etc.) are completed before dispatch.</li><li>
Participate in client inspections and audits; ensure readiness for third-party inspections.</li><li>
Control fabrication costs and optimize manpower and resource allocation.</li><li>
Prepare weekly and monthly fabrication progress reports for management review.</li></ul> 

Qualifications 
<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering (preferred).</li><li>
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with extensive experience may be considered.</li><li>
Welding inspection certification (CSWIP / AWS) is an advantage.</li><li>
Relevant HSE training and ADNOC project experience preferred.</li><li>
Minimum 12&ndash;15 years of experience in fabrication for Oil &amp; Gas or EPC projects.</li><li>
At least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory fabrication role.</li><li>
Strong knowledge of ASME, API, AWS, and ADNOC standards.</li><li>
Proven experience managing structural steel and piping fabrication works.</li><li>
In-depth knowledge of welding processes, NDT methods, and quality control procedures.</li><li>
Strong leadership and team management skills.</li><li>
Experience handling large fabrication yards and multiple concurrent work fronts.</li><li>
Good understanding of material management and procurement coordination.</li><li>

JOB SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of the Fabrication Manager is to oversee general fabrication shop operation and maintenance; and to ensure all equipment is maintained and serviced according to established protocols.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.<ul><li>

Develop employee schedules to utilize time wisely and ensure orders are completed timely</li><li>
Track and maintain inventory and submit required quarterly inventory reports</li><li>
Maintain appropriate inventory levels and ensure that materials and equipment are accounted for to avoid loss, theft, waste or damage.</li><li>
Responsible for the preparation, organization and maintenance of job files, records, OSHA records</li><li>
Ensure jobs stay within projected bids to avoid overages in cost to the company.</li><li>
Coordinate with production manager &ndash; Fabrication Supervisor</li><li>
Ensure all incoming materials are off loaded properly according to Company safety policies and procedures</li><li>
Ensure subordinates perform ongoing quality control inspections to detect fabrication errors/problems</li><li>
Other duties as assigned</li></ul>

This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws.
