Under the direction of the Clinical/Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Coordinator, the Programs Facilitator administers a library of evidence-based cognitive behavioral programs and ensures those programs are delivered in the intended in-person and/or virtual format. This position is not covered as defined by The Board of Commissioners of the County of Allen Employee Handbook.
<br><br>
<b>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</b><br>
<ul>
<li>Facilitates evidence-based cognitive behavioral classes and ensures the content of the program curriculum is delivered in its intended format and the participants understand and relates to the required material.</li>
<li>Prepares necessary lesson plans, materials, supplies and instructional hardware to facilitate the program and recommends additional materials needed.</li>
<li>Prepares the classroom environment or E-Learning platform to meet unique circumstances of participants, ensures cleanliness of the facilities, inventories necessary program materials, and notifies appropriate staff of materials needed or any equipment malfunctions.</li>

The Programs Facilitator maintains frequent contact with other County employees, Allen County Community Corrections (ACCC) staff, program participants, and other mental health and social service agencies regarding evidence-based cognitive-behavioral therapy programs, including CBT programming conducted through an E-learning platform.

<b>WORKING CONDITIONS:</b><br>
The Programs Facilitator may work remotely and in an office and classroom environment with frequent contact with potentially dangerous, violent, and abusive program offenders convicted of various misdemeanor and felony offenses on a daily basis with the ability to move around freely, but frequently sitting, requiring some bending, kneeling, lifting up to forty pounds, reaching overhead and pushing and/or pulling loads. Very frequent typing, including proofreading and attention to detail, monitoring equipment and detailed inspection is required. <br>The Training Facilitator (French/English Bilingual) is responsible for delivering training materials to our team members using creative teaching techniques. We’re looking for a performance-driven individual who is eager to innovate new opportunities for curriculum development.

As a Training Facilitator (French/English Bilingual), You Will…
<br><br>
<ul>
<li>Provide training to new and existing employees</li>
<li>Develop and deliver training plans and curriculum to classes of up to 25 people</li>
<li>Develop and utilize a variety of creative teaching techniques</li>
<li>Develop and administer knowledge assessment testing</li>
<li>Assist with Quality Assurance monitoring, feedback and coaching</li>
<li>Maintain up-to-date reporting on training progress, effectiveness and improvements</li>
<li>Stay informed of current client products and services</li>
<li>Interact with partners, ensuring they understand the training environment, successes and opportunities for development</li>
<li>International travel is required</li>

As a Training Facilitator (French/English Bilingual), You Have…
<br><br>
<ul>
<li>Must be bilingual in both English and French, written and verbal. Language proficiency will be a key competency to be successful in this role</li>
<li>A University and/or College Degree / diploma</li>
<li>100% open availability & ability to work over 40 hrs/week as needed</li>
<li>Knowledge of adult learning principles and the ability to implement these principles into a training curriculum</li>
<li>Experience conducting training needs analyses for internal and external partners</li>
<li>2+ years previous contact center experience preferred and a minimum of 3 years of experience delivering classroom training</li>
<li>Experience in customer service training</li>
<li>Knowledge of existing and emerging training methods, tools and techniques</li>
<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills</li>
<li>Excellent attention to detail with good time management skills</li>
</ul>
