The Facilities Maintenance Technician I works under general supervision and often independently. A significant portion of their time will be spent responding to work order requests to support the operational function of the buildings. They troubleshoot and diagnose building systems for proper operation. The Facilities Maintenance Technician I will participate in an on-call rotation. This position is part of a two-level career progression of Facilities Maintenance Technician I and II.</div><div></div><div>

The hourly wage range for this position is $25.00 - $48.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
