LEGENDS GLOBAL, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an immediate opening for a Facility Engineer for LEGENDS Global Stockton in Stockton, CA who is responsible for all aspects of maintenance in the facilities. Ensures that all facility equipment at sites, including HVAC, plumbing and electrical plants; lighting and climate control systems; roofing systems; telecommunications, food service and maintenance / cleaning equipment is operating properly and efficiently, and maintained in good condition. Oversees general facility maintenance; and proper delivery of event-related utility services. Performs the following duties personally or through a subordinate:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.<ul><li>
Ensures proper and efficient operation of central Building Management System (BMS)</li><li>
Troubleshoot equipment failures; diagnose root cause and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.</li><li>
Operate, monitor, and maintain the environmental controls, emergency power, electrical, HVAC, lighting, and other building systems as required for the safe and efficient operation of the facilities for event days, non-event days, and off days of all sites under Stockton Complex.</li><li>
Oversees preventative maintenance of all Stockton Complex sites.</li><li>
Repair, rebuild or replacement of various items such as electric motors, combustion engines, compressors, HVAC units, and pumps, etc.</li><li>
Operates auxiliary supply systems when necessary, including but not limited to generators, battery backup systems, automatic transfer switches, fire pumps, etc.</li><li>
Operate equipment such as industrial trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, scrubbing machines or other power-driven equipment.</li><li>
Conduct routine rounds to inspect mechanical rooms, rooftops, and common areas; identify hazards and service needs.</li><li>
Perform preventive maintenance (PM) inspections and complete work orders using company systems such as Altum; document findings, parts used, and labor hours.</li><li>
Respond to urgent maintenance calls and alarms; participate in on-call rotation as assigned.</li><li>
Facilitates compliance with Cal OSHA, NFPA and all other applicable laws and regulations.</li><li>
Provides technical support, oversees and/or assists with repairs and maintenance of all facility systems and equipment.</li><li>
Coordinate and oversee contractors and vendors (HVAC, electrical, fire/life safety, elevators, janitorial); verify scope completion and quality.</li><li>
Ensures adherence to OSHA, NFPA and other applicable safety codes.</li><li>
Maintain inventory of critical spares and tools; recommend replacements and improvements.</li></ul>
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises employees in the Facility Engineering &amp; Maintenance Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with LEGENDS GLOBAL's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding; disciplining employees in conjunction with Human Resources; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience

 The Facility Engineer &ndash; HVAC will assume responsibility for all maintenance and construction task for Aspen Skiing Company (ASC) facilities. Maintain facilities in a manner that extends life of equipment and all ASC assets along with conserving energy as a top priority. Be willing and able to help with any facilities based tasks as needed and directed by ASC management.  This position reports to the Facility Manager.
 
 
 The hourly pay range for this position is $30.00- $42.00. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience.

Experience that is commensurate with the specific facility for the position of Chief Engineer.
<ul><li>Prefer 5 years progressive operations experience as a Chief Engineer</li><li>
Computer skills and building automation systems experience required</li><li>
Certification meeting OSHA training requirements as required</li><li>
Working knowledge of energy conservation required, formal training preferred</li><li>
As required, highest-level relevant state/local license for Stationary Engineer and/or HVAC, plus universal level refrigerant recovery license</li><li>
BOMA accredited courses desirable</li></ul>

An Engineer is responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the facility in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. 
What will I be doing? 
As an Engineer, you would be responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the facility in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:<ul><li>
Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility including, but not limited to, guest rooms, public space and heart-of-the-house areas</li><li>
Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment</li><li>
Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including, but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC work and masonry</li><li>
Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs</li><li>
Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention</li></ul>
