The Field Adjusters primary responsibility is to manage, investigate and resolve assigned property claims. This position is dedicated to providing customer service to policyholders by providing fair and timely resolutions of claims. POSITION OVERVIEW: 
The Sr Adjuster Field Service Claims is responsible for independently managing moderate to complex and high-value field property claims. This role requires advanced investigation, evaluation, and negotiation skills to resolve field property claims. It involves thorough analysis, collaboration with internal teams and external experts, and will require travel on short notice. Strong technical expertise and the ability to manage claims in accordance with policy provisions, regulations, and best practices are essential to delivering high-quality service and outcomes.
 
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL: 
<ul>
<li>Independently manage field property claims, including those requiring outside field investigations and catastrophe (CAT) response.</li>
<li>Lead thorough investigations, assess coverage, and issue appropriate documentation including reservation of rights and coverage letters. Escalate issues as needed.</li>
<li>Identify and proactively pursue opportunities to transfer risk to the appropriate entities for the benefit of insureds and business partners.</li>
<li>Maintain comprehensive and detailed claim records, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with jurisdictional requirements.</li>
<li>Identify and assign subrogation potential appropriately; set up files to support successful recovery efforts.</li>
<li>Ensure all claims activities comply with regulatory and company standards. Execute jurisdictional compliance requirements and support others in understanding regulatory obligations.</li>
<li>Investigate and manage suspicious claims using advanced techniques and tools; refer to the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) as needed. Maintain awareness of fraud indicators and regulatory reporting obligations.</li>
<li>Set reserves, authorize payments, and make financial decisions within authority and contribute to reserving accuracy and efficiency.</li>
<li>Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including legal, underwriting, vendors, and agents. Lead cross-functional meetings and communicate complex information clearly to diverse audiences.</li>
<li>Use advanced tools and analytics to identify trends, correct inconsistencies, and improve claims handling efficiency. Ensure proper data ingestion, labeling, and protection of personally identifiable information (PII).</li>
<li>Maintains comprehensive factual and organized claim records and prepares detailed reports summarizing findings and recommendations.</li>
<li>Serve as a mentor to junior adjusters, providing guidance on complex claims, compliance, and litigation processes. Support training initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices and educational materials.</li>

<div>POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the prompt review of policy information to determine coverage for loss/damage/injury. Conduct an efficient claim examination and investigation leading to the final resolution of liability claims, including matters in litigation. Frequent contact and interaction with involved parties including claimants and their legal representatives will be required. Recommendations regarding loss exposure and associated reserve and settlement strategy will be effectively communicated to the client. 
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul><li>Review and interpret coverage, process, and conclude assigned claims including investigation and evaluation of Auto, No Fault PIP, and/or General Liability Casualty Claims.</li>
<li>Oversee and direct outside investigative service providers and work closely with the client and client counsel and investigative services to advance the claim to conclusion.
</li><li>Maintain an ongoing diary.</li>
<li>Continually assess exposure and evaluate for accurate reserves and settlement recommendation.</li>
<li>Prepare Loss Reports providing thorough analysis of coverage, liability, and damages.
</li><li>Where applicable, determine if subrogation and/or risk transfer exists and initiate recovery efforts at the direction of the client.</li>
<li>Document all correspondence, reports, discussions, and decisions in the claim file record.</li>
<li>Provide outstanding service to the client.</li>
</ul>Position is remote/working from home. 
 
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: 
Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor&rsquo;s degree in related field (preferred) and two years auto and general liability casualty and or No Fault/PIP related experience; or equivalent combination of advanced education and experience.
 
Special Requirements:
<ul><li>At least two years of Automobile and General Liability claims experience required.</li>
<li>Knowledge of claims handling concepts, practices, and techniques, including but not limited to coverage issues, litigation management and product line knowledge.
</li><li>Demonstrated verbal and written communications skills.
</li><li>Demonstrated advanced analytical, decision-making and negotiation skills.
</li><li>Computer proficiency.</li>
</ul> Preferred Skills:
<ul><li>Ability to communicate effectively and clearly, both orally and in writing.</li>
<li>Ability to manage relationships in a fast-paced environment, while demonstrating problem solving and decision-making skills to work with customers.</li>
