Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><p>
Deliver world-class customer service and problem resolution at client sites, while cultivating positive customer relations through professional handling of complaints and inquiries in a collaborative and supportive manner.</p></li><li><p>
Ensure maximum uptime and customer satisfaction by maintaining equipment properly and proactively identifying and resolving potential issues before they impact operations.</p></li><li><p>
Instruct customers on proper operation and maintenance of BD Parata's pharmacy automation products, respond to service requests within SLA requirements, and collaborate with team members to resolve complex technical problems.</p></li><li><p>
Provide detailed documentation of issues and resolutions in Salesforce Field Service Lightning, while offering constructive feedback to management and engineering teams to drive product improvements and operational efficiency.</p></li><li><p>
Demonstrate willingness to assist with new product implementations, travel outside the local region when required, and provide coverage during weekends and holidays to ensure continuous customer support.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Minimum Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><p>
High School Diploma with 3-5 years of field service experience, complemented by strong mechanical proficiency and ability to use standard hand tools for complex subsystem disassembly and reassembly.</p></li><li><p>
Proficient knowledge of multiple Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows 2000, XP, 7, 10, 11) and Microsoft Office applications is required for successful performance in this role.</p></li><li><p>
Must possess extensive understanding of basic computer networking, including the ability to use Windows tools to identify network and PC information, plus knowledge of router and switch setup and operation.</p></li><li><p>
Demonstrated ability to navigate file structures to locate and edit configuration and XML files, ensuring proper system functionality and customization.</p></li><li><p>
Understanding of PC ghosting and re-imaging processes to efficiently restore, duplicate, and deploy system configurations across multiple devices.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Preferred Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><p>
Associates degree or equivalent experience in a S.T.E.M or technical related field</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>

Daily car travel is required; occasional air travel is possible. Travel by car may average four hours per day, with occasional shorter and some longer drive times expected.</p></li></ul><p><br>

<p>Overview</p><p>Join our innovative team as a Technical Support Engineer specializing in OSP &amp; FTTX deployments technology, where you will be the driving force behind technical support, product demonstrations, and customer training. This role will primarily focus on fiber optic fusion splicing equipment, MDU connectivity products and solutions for OSP (Outside Plant) and FTTX networks. This role will assist in empowering clients by providing comprehensive training on our equipment and products, troubleshooting complex issues, and support our sales team to showcase our cutting edge solutions. Your energetic approach will help to foster strong customer relationships and accelerate product adaption across diverse markets.</p><p>The right candidate will have hands-on MSO field experience with fiber optic installations, fusion splicing, and field troubleshooting.
