INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION FOR MIGRATION

<div><p>Pakistan is one of the most vulnerable countries in the world to the impacts of climate change. It faces multiple climate-related challenges, including both sudden-onset events (such as floods and droughts) and slow-onset impacts (such as increased heat, variable rainfall, heavy precipitation). Pakistan's economy is largely dependent on agriculture, which is also significantly impacted by climate change, including because of its effects on crop failure and declining productivity. The impact of climate change on livelihoods and human security often makes it a significant trigger for rural-to-urban migration, while the sudden impact of disasters such as flooding has been known to cause large-scale internal displacement.<br>
</p><p></p><p>The Government of Pakistan (GoP) acknowledges the importance of strengthening adaptation to climate change impacts and recognizes the need to include human mobility concerns into climate change planning. As part of an earlier IOM Development Fund (IOM DF) initiative, IOM supported the GoP in including human mobility considerations in its National Adaptation Plan (NAP). However, knowledge and funding gaps as well as the lack of a comprehensive communications strategy on NAP and climate-related human mobility remain persistent challenges in implementing the NAP. The lack of capacity and by extension, lack of innovative solutions, make it difficult to secure funding for programmes that address human mobility in climate adaptation plans. Government agencies at both federal and provincial levels lack the technical expertise and resources to integrate human mobility considerations into existing climate change policies and procedures. Traditionally, climate change adaptation and migration management have been handled by separate entities. Bridging the gap between these departments and fostering inter-ministerial collaboration is crucial for a unified approach. Furthermore, to generate more public interest and knowledge in this portfolio, communication and advocacy around human mobility must be strengthened - a component that is explicitly mentioned in the NAP.<br>
</p><p></p><p>The project leverages the achievements of previous engagements by IOM Pakistan on the subject and seeks to contribute to the implementation of Pakistan's NAP by enhancing the GoP's advocacy and communication tools and promoting innovative climate adaptation solutions via a whole-of-society approach. The project seeks to build on ongoing engagements related to the NAP and a strong relationship with the Ministry of Climate Change and Environmental Coordination (MoCC&amp;EC) to expand adaptation planning while including human mobility concerns.<br>

The Role</b></div><div>
The primary role of the Finance Solution Advisor would be to focus on presenting the value of SAP Finance and Risk Management portfolio. This Solution Advisor would possess advanced/expert-level knowledge of Finance Operations, Financial Planning &amp; Analytics, Accounting &amp; Financial Close, Treasury &amp; Working Capital Management, This advisor would also be able to understand the deep integration and financial experience. In this role, the advisor will be asked to learn Best Run Finance to help position the intelligent enterprise and showcase the value to both the C Suite and Office the CFO.</div><div>
The Solution Advisor interacts with prospective customers through executive meetings, discovery conversations, solution demonstrations, executive presentations, and follow-up discussions. The primary role of the Solution Advisor during an active sales cycle is to gain acceptance from the customer that the SAP solution can solve the customer&rsquo;s problem and is the right choice over the other competitive offerings. During these cycles they may also take on the role of a Solution/Deal Captain. Compose and deliver superior sales presentations covering SAP and partner software solutions to prospective customer audiences. The presentations must articulate the sales message, differentiate SAP, and leave a strong and positive impression to audiences which can include senior company executives.</li><li>
Prepare and deliver value-based software demonstrations/presentations in support of sales cycles. Preparation includes personalization of materials to ensure delivery of a simple, appealing and compelling customer presentation.</li><li>
In advance of a demonstration or key presentation, conduct discovery sessions with representatives from the prospective customer to build relationships with the customer and understand their unique needs.</li><li>
Demonstrate deep knowledge of SAP solutions and appropriate industries to maintain credibility with prospective customers. Provide proof points with relevant customer stories.</li><li>
Support RFI &amp; RFP completion in support of customer proposals.</li><li>
Ability to effectively present to customers in a virtual environment using virtual technologies (Zoom, Teams, etc.).</li><li>
Provide limited post-sale support to key customers primarily to the project/implementation team to ensure a smooth transition.</li><li>
