 We're hiring an Operations Associate to work directly with the CEO across everything. This is a generalist role at a firm that does it all: client management, financial operations, tax coordination, HR compliance, contracts, and more. You'll be in the middle of it from day one.

 You should have a foundation in finance and accounting and know enough to keep books clean and understand what you're looking at. But the job is much bigger than that. We're looking for someone smart, coachable, and hungry who wants to learn how a real back-office firm operates from the inside and take on more over time. Review and validate vendor master data from a tax perspective, including tax classifications, documentation (e.g., W-9, W-8), and withholding indicators.</li><li>
Support audit and regulatory reviews by maintaining clear, audit-ready documentation of tax validation, decisions, and controls executed.</li><li>
Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, Compliance, and Operations teams to address complex vendor payment and tax scenarios.</li><li>
Monitor changes in Americas and LATAM tax regulations impacting P2P and vendor payments; partner with Tax to embed updates into operational processes.</li><li>
Contribute to process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives to strengthen tax controls and reduce manual intervention.</li><li>
Support P2P transformation initiatives by providing tax input into system enhancements, testing, and process design.</li><li>
Act as an escalation point for complex or high-risk tax-related payment issues within P2P operations.</li></ul>
<p><b>
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR</b></p>
<ul><li>
5+ years of experience in Procure to Pay, Accounts Payable, Finance Operations, or a related function with strong exposure to tax-related processes.</li><li>
Strong working knowledge of Americas tax requirements, with additional exposure to LATAM tax regulations preferred.</li><li>
Experience supporting vendor payments, withholding tax, and tax reporting from a P2P or payment operations standpoint.</li><li>
Strong control mindset with a clear understanding of operational risk, compliance, and audit expectations.</li><li>
Proven ability to manage complex exceptions, perform root-cause analysis, and drive sustainable solutions.</li><li>
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner effectively with Tax, Finance, Compliance, and business teams.</li><li>
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain tax concepts in a clear, practical manner.</li><li>
High attention to detail and ability to operate effectively in time-sensitive environments.</li><li>
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.</li><li>
Experience working with ERP or invoice workflow systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba, Coupa) preferred.</li><li>
Experience leveraging data analytics and emerging AI-enabled tools to identify risks, improve accuracy, and drive efficiency across P2P and vendor payment processes.</li></ul>

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</b></p>
<ul><li>
Direct experience supporting LATAM vendor payments and associated tax requirements.</li><li>
Prior experience partnering with Corporate Tax teams or supporting tax audits and regulatory reviews.</li><li>
Exposure to indirect taxes, withholding tax, and cross-border payment considerations.</li><li>
Demonstrated experience contributing to process improvement, controls enhancement, or automation initiatives within P2P.</li><li>
Interest in building scalable tax knowledge and acting as a center of expertise within the Dallas P2P organization.</li><li>
Proficiency in Portuguese is desirable to facilitate seamless engagement with Brazilian stakeholders and navigate the complexities of the tax reforms.</li></ul>
