<b>What will I be doing?
</b></p><p>The scope of the role is all of the Managed &amp; Leased Hotels in the HAFS (Hilton Accounting &amp; Financial Services) model in the UK Ireland. The role will be part of a team of 10 people, comprising of 8 Specialists, 1 Supervisor and 1 Manager in the PTP function, operating in<br>
Hilton Canary Wharf. The PTP Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that the hotel-retained activities in the PTP Tower are performed in line with timeliness and quality SLA &amp; KPI targets. The role will assist to resolve transactional queries where necessary. The PTP Specialist will also partner with the HAFS team, Hotel Operations and other towers within the Operations Finance team to identify &amp; implement process improvements for the Tower, and the role will be targeted with driving improvements in KPI performance and reducing exception-handling for the Hotel teams involved in the PTP Tower processes. The current operations involve a considerable amount of reactive transactional firefighting, and this role will be tasked with driving process improvements &amp; reducing Hotel query-handling in PTP Tower for all Hotels in scope. Key stakeholders will include, FP&amp;A team, Hotel General Managers, HODs, Hotel Operational teams, Corporate Functional teams, Compliance team, and HAFS team. The role will also be responsible for driving a high performing team culture.</p><p><b>

Qualifications</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Finalist or part qualified Professional qualification (ACCA / ICAP or similar), Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field</li>
<li>Experience with Quickbooks Online (QBO)</li>
<li>Ability to communicate in English fluently to work with colleagues and stakeholders</li>
<li>Ability to Reconcile bank statements and accounts</li>
<li>Oversee and manage the company&rsquo;s cash flow, ensuring optimal liquidity and financial stability</li>

<ul>
<li>1&ndash;2 years experience in accounts and finance</li>
<li>Completed or are currently pursuing ACCA, CA, or any other relevant qualification</li>
<li>Experience in retail accounting.</li>

<li>Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate effectively with executive management</li>

We are looking for a financial expert to manage our accounting operations and drive strategic planning. You will be responsible for maintaining financial accuracy while guiding the business toward its strategic goals through data-driven analysis.</p>
<p><b>
Responsibilities</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process within QBO</li>
<li>Bank and account reconciliation preparation and adjustments, analytical review and variance analysis</li>
<li>Reconciliations of supplier accounts including payables and receivables</li>
<li>Process accounts payable by analyzing different invoices and making sure they are coded correctly and posting them into QBO</li>
<li>Preparation of journal entries for month end close</li>
<li>Implement process improvements to accounting processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.</li>
<li>Undertake special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed.</li>
<li>Lead an accounting process from end-to-end</li>
<li>Preparing and reviewing balance sheets and Profit and Loss accounts</li>
<li>Develop budgets forecasts and cost analysis.</li>
<li>Monitor cashflow trends</li>
<li>Generate reports for management decision making.</li>
<li>Build strong relationships with stakeholders to provide financial insights</li>
<li>Support the achievement of strategic goals</li>
<li>Lead cross-functional projects that require financial expertise</li>
<li>Implement process improvements to accounting processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.</li>
<li>Undertake special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed.</li>
<li>Develop knowledge of tools and applications in support of the accounting function and highlight opportunities for improvement.</li>
