As an Executive Staff member reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Vice President of Finance directs the fiscal functions and management of Horizon House&rsquo;s $90M budget, and is responsible for the financial records of the organization. The Vice President of Finance will support the Executive Staff, the Board of Directors, and Senior Management in the following areas:

<li>Oversee the accounting, finance, payroll, purchasing activities, and department personnel to ensure the effectiveness of internal controls and business processes.</li>
<li>Monitor compliance of all government (federal, state, and local) regulations in accordance with fiscal contract requirements; provide leadership that will develop, enhance, implement, and enforce policies and procedures that will improve the overall operations and effectiveness of the Agency in support of organizational goals.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Senior Management to establish and implement short- &amp; long-range organizational goals, objectives, strategic plans, policies, and operational procedures; provide financial forecasting for proposed programmatic changes and enhancements.</li>
<li>Maintain close working relationships with financial institutions, government and external auditors; ensuring that adequate controls are in place and all audits are issued in a timely manner, in accordance with nonprofit generally accepted accounting principles, and when applicable, Government Auditing Standards.</li>
<li>Oversee the preparation of the annual budget; collaborate with Senior Management on the timely/accurate preparation of budgets and adherence to budget goals.</li>
<li>Prepare and oversee the periodic reporting of financial statements, tax report filings, employee benefits filings, and the Form 990 report.</li>
</ul>
Successful candidates will have the following:

<li>BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA or CPA strongly preferred.</li>
<li>At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in financial management, with at least 5 years at a nonprofit organization.</li>
<li>Thorough knowledge of current fiscal practices and regulations; strong analytical, organizational, communication, and computer skills are required.</li>

Experience and Qualifications<ul><li>

Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and investment accounting.</li><li>
Demonstrated experience supervising accounting teams and managing complex financial processes.</li><li>
Strong analytical, reconciliation, and financial reporting skills.</li><li>

 We are conducting a search for a Group Vice President, Manufacturing Finance, to lead the finance and accounting functions for a complex, multi-site manufacturing organization.  The Group Vice President, Manufacturing Finance plays a critical role in overseeing financial planning, accounting, reporting, and operational finance across the business unit, ensuring financial discipline while enabling data-driven decision-making.  15+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or operational finance roles.

 Prior leadership experience overseeing finance functions within manufacturing, supply chain, or operational environments.

 Minimum of 3+ years of supply chain finance experience.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong working knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, rolling forecasts, and product profitability analysis.

 Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence decision-making across multiple levels of the organization.

 Proven leadership capability with experience building and developing high-performing finance teams.
