We are a growing, fast-paced property management office located in Farmington Hills, MI seeking an AP/AR clerk.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, dependable, self-motivated and highly organized. The applicant should have experience performing day to day financial transactions, be organized and accurate, use of Microsoft Office with the ability to perform complex tasks in Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

Performing day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
</li><li>Managing bank and general ledger reconciliations
</li><li>Matching, batching, coding, and entering invoices
</li><li>Posting journal entries
</li><li>Researching and resolving accounts payable or accounts receivable issues with customers or vendors
</li><li>Maintaining cash applications, account reconciliations, chargebacks
</li><li>Investigating and resolving accounts payable or accounts receivable

Requirements and skills
<ul><li>
Proven accounting experience (&gt;3yrs) as an Accounts Payable Clerk:
</li><li>Preferably in commercial real estate, property management, 3rd party administration environments
</li><li>Client-facing and high-volume experience - critical
</li><li>Multiple entity experience - critical
</li><li>Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
</li><li>A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
</li><li>Competency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software
</li><li>Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
</li><li>Aptitude for numbers

ABOUT THIS ACCOUNTS PAYABLE/RECEIVABLE CLERK ROLE
In this Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk position, you'll become a key part of our financial operations, moving seamlessly between accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting tasks. Your days will include creating and posting invoices, applying payments, resolving discrepancies, processing vendor invoices, matching purchase orders, assisting with weekly check runs, reconciling statements, preparing sales tax returns, supporting the monthend close, and contributing to audits and special projects. You'll ensure compliance, maintain accuracy, and collaborate with your team, both remotely and during your inoffice days, to keep our financial processes running smoothly and efficiently. 
WORK SCHEDULE
This is a fulltime, Monday&ndash;Friday position from 8:00 am&ndash;5:00 pm. The role follows a hybrid schedule, requiring a commute to our De Pere, WI office twice per week and as needed.
