Reading comprehension skills sufficient to understand intake forms, therapist and patient instructions, and hospital policies written in standard English.</li><li>

Manual dexterity and physical ability to perform essential job duties, including operating a computer and using a telephone headset.</li><li>
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and staff from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, including sharing knowledge, providing and receiving feedback, taking initiative, and contributing to problem-solving efforts.</li><li>
Working knowledge of insurance products including HMOs, PPOs, and insurance contracting.</li><li>
Experience obtaining insurance benefits, eligibility verification, and authorizations, as well as providing financial counseling and financial screening.</li><li>
Ability to serve as a liaison between patients, physicians&rsquo; offices, and other hospital departments.</li><li>
Ability to perform job responsibilities effectively despite frequent interruptions and competing priorities.</li><li>
