Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities
 
Provides a consistent optimal customer experience on the cash line while handling customers’ transactional needs, such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other typical teller transactions
 
Answers customer inquiries regarding products and services and fulfills basic servicing requests, such as new/replacement cards, information changes, PIN reset requests, reordering checks, and basic problem resolution
 
Develops relationships with customers, remaining well-informed about the customer’s relationship with the bank
 
Educates customers on standard consumer products and digital solutions such as mobile, online, and ATM offerings, all designed to make banking easier
 
Assists branch and fellow team members with basic tasks to aid in customer problem resolution
 
Refers customers to an internal team of experts when more complex financial goals and needs are recognized
 
Follows all bank processes and procedures and adheres to applicable laws and regulations, including completing duties delegated and assigned by the Branch Manager; as a member of the branch team, ensures sound banking practices, including managing, identifying and reporting operational risks
 
Achieves branch targets and goals by identifying customer needs and providing appropriate guidance and perspective about Regions’ solutions

Senior Branch Manager:
<ul>
<li>Effectively resolve complex member and employee situations considering legal, financial, and reputational risk to the Credit Union.</li>
<li>Lead divisional projects and serve as the branch division&rsquo;s representative on organizational initiatives and committees. Advocate for branch needs and perspectives while taking ownership, initiative, and accountability to achieve project goals.</li>
<li>Leverage in-depth knowledge of branch performance metrics and Credit Union financials to lead the development and execution of strategies that enhance branch productivity, drive sales growth, streamline processes, and elevate the member service experience across the branch network.</li>

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

Branch Manager:
<ul>
<li>Degree in a related field is preferred; High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.</li>
<li>Prior experience leading others formally or informally is required; or completion of one of the Credit Union&rsquo;s leadership programs in lieu of experience.</li>
<li>Availability to work during branch hours, including Saturdays, and the ability to travel to support multiple locations and work outside standard hours to meet operational needs across the branch network.</li>
</ul>
Senior Branch Manager:
<ul>
<li>Prior experience in management or authorized leadership of professionals is required.</li>
<li>Extensive experience with financial institutions' products, services, operational processes, regulatory requirements, and internal platforms is essential. Prior experience in a financial institution or similar environment is highly valued.</li>

What You'll Be Doing (Your Responsibilities)

Originates and closes all loan types via direct member contact, telephone, mail and fax applications. Uses loan processing system to create approved documents for funding and disbursement. Ensures that all conditions for approval are met, obtains all required documentation, and disburses loans via direct member contact or mail. Demonstrates full knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations and laws.</li><li>
Performs all the duties and functions for the ATM/Debit card issuance, including all new, reissues, and maintenance on the system.</li><li>
Promotes, refers and sells additional third party products as determined by the Credit Union.</li><li>
Function as a Membership Officer in the Branch, as approved by the Board of Directors.</li><li>
Handles opening and closing of all account types and completes all proper documentation.</li><li>
Cross trains on all teller line functions to provide backup assistance in this area when deemed necessary by the Branch Manager.</li><li>
Assists Call Center with resolution of member issues on a daily basis.</li><li>
Adheres to all aspects of the Credit Union Bank Secrecy Act policy and procedures.</li><li>
