We seek a self-starter with a strong problem solving skills, a keen attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous situations, and solid skills in project management. You will interact regularly with with various business units across Amazon and requires strong people skills. 
 
 
A day in the life 
This role partners with finance teams across AWS and helps support our business partners in Migration Services and Marketplaces &amp; Control Services. There's no typical day as you could be working on a variety of different things, including driving our annual planning processes, reviewing reporting and insights on business performance, or managing a project to help us scale with the growth in our services.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS</h2><ul><li>5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience</li><li>5+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience</li><li>5+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience</li><li>5+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience</li><li>Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field</li><li>5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience</li><li>5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</h2><ul><li>6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience</li><li>6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience</li><li>MBA, or CPA</li><li>Knowledge of SQL/ETL</li><li>Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results</li></ul>

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
