This individual will design; coordinate, and possibly project manage the fire alarm systems for commercial, industrial, and residential buildings. He or she will design and create the finished representation for the alarm systems using drawing and drafting skills and tools. The drawings produced will be used as a guide by every other link in the chain of construction, both on-site and in the office. The designer will have responsibility for the initial planning of a project including scheduling of time, creating material stock listing, analyzing changes, and solving problems. Close coordination with the project manager, project superintendent, and sales representative will be required throughout the life of the project.</p>

Based at the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi within the Engineering Department, The BMS Operator is responsible for operating, maintaining Engineering Control Room in accordance with EPH standards, to achieve optimum product quality. The BMS Operator reports to the ELV/IT Systems Engineer.</p>

As a BMS Operator, you will be responsible for the following duties:</b></p>

<li>Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the central monitoring station and all associated systems.</li>
<li>Manage and respond to 24-hour engineering emergency calls.</li>
<li>Prepare and generate diagnostic reports from systems to support the technical team, in accordance with the Control Room Operators&rsquo; Procedure Manual.</li>
<li>Monitor, operate, and control the Central Fire Alarm System.</li>
<li>Record completed work orders in the database and coordinate follow-up with field staff.</li>

Leads an Aircraft Fire and Rescue crew at an airfield primarily serving rotary wing aircraft. Responsible for directing emergency crews at the scene of an emergency, conducting training sessions, and maintaining the preparedness of firefighters and EMT Basics/Paramedics for emergency responses.</div>
