<div>Forsyth County Department of Emergency Services is seeking hard working and dedicated Fire Engineers. Fire Engineers receive and respond to fire alarms, technical rescues, medical calls and emergency/accidents. The employee may drive firefighting and rescue equipment and operates such equipment at the scene of a fire or emergency call with technician level proficiency depending on the assignment within the Fire Division. This employee must execute orders of their supervisor and on scene incident command staff promptly and efficiently and may be required to assume those roles in absence of higher levels of supervision or command. This employee is also responsible for the day-to-day operations and personnel assigned to their station or unit. Independent judgment and initiative are required in fighting fires and emergency rescues. Fire Engineers will also perform yearly fire prevention inspections, as well as conduct fire origin and cause investigations. Assumes command of day to day and incident operations of a company or shift in the absence of the Fire Captain. 
 
The employee is expected to work a rotating shift that includes nights, weekends, and holidays. The employee may be called back for duty as deemed necessary by department administration. Work is performed under general supervision and by standard operating procedures and is evaluated through reports and by overall effectiveness of operations.

We are a leading Facilities Management company seeking a certified Fire Protection / Mechanical Engineer to oversee the inspection, testing, maintenance, and QCDD compliance of all fire and life safety systems across our portfolio of buildings. The ideal candidate must hold a valid QCDD (Qatar Civil Defense) approval for fire inspections and an MMUP/UPDA certification<ul><li>Responsible for ensuring all facilities meet QCDD annual inspection requirements, coordinating with Civil Defense for renewal of fire safety permits, managing third-party maintenance contractors, and maintaining a 100% compliant and audit-ready status for all fire protection assets.</li><li>QCDD Annual Inspections: Plan, coordinate, and facilitate all QCDD annual inspections for multiple facilities. Ensure all fire protection systems &ndash; sprinklers, pumps, alarms, suppression systems &ndash; are fully operational and compliant prior to inspection.</li><li>Permit Renewals &amp; Compliance: Manage the renewal of QCDD fire safety permits for each facility. Prepare and submit required documentation, including DC1/DC2 forms, maintenance logs, and test certificates.</li><li>System Testing &amp; Maintenance: Supervise the routine testing, inspection, and preventive maintenance of fire pumps, wet/dry risers, fire hose reels, extinguishers, FM-200 / Novec systems, and fire alarm control panels (FACP).</li><li>Third-Party Contractor Management: Oversee subcontractors performing fire system maintenance and repairs. Ensure their work meets QCDD standards, NFPA codes, and company KPIs.</li><li>Site Audits &amp; Hazard Identification: Conduct regular facility walkthroughs to identify fire safety gaps, blocked egress routes, faulty equipment, or expired extinguishers.
