<div>As an Operations &ndash;Fire Protection Designer you will be a key player in promoting our company and expanding our fire sprinkler service offerings. This is a key position in our company. Your role involves coordinating operations completely with FPE, PM, Field Operations, and BD to provide comprehensive fire protection proposals, design, and execution for design-build pursuits. We're seeking an individual with high-level fire protection experience and who possesses exceptional leadership and communication skills. NICET Certification and management experience preferred.
 
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

<li>Collaborate with pre-construction team during bid pursuits.</li>
<li>Schedule design assignments. Track progress and schedules.</li>
<li>Initiate and run weekly meetings with the team. Identify and solve issues.</li>
<li>Schedule PM assignments and track individual PM progress.</li>
<li>Work with PM/Field Ops on scheduling, change orders, and customer satisfaction.</li>
<li>Maintain high standards of workmanship and professional representation and responsiveness for prospects and customers.</li>
<li>Interact with clients and advise them during all phases of the project.</li>
<li>Perform actual design duties until the design team is assembled.</li>

We are seeking an experienced Senior Fire Protection Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fire sprinkler system design, code compliance, hydraulic calculations, stock listing, and coordination with clients, engineers, and field personnel. This position requires a high degree of technical proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from concept through completion.

Key Responsibilities</h4>
<ul><li>Develop detailed fire sprinkler system designs and layout drawings using HydraCAD for AutoCAD Software</li>
<li>Perform hydraulic calculations and material take-offs in accordance with NFPA standards and local codes.</li>
<li>Review architectural, structural, and mechanical plans to ensure proper system coordination.</li>
<li>Prepare submittals, fabrication drawings, and as-built documentation.</li>
<li>Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and field supervisors to ensure design intent and code compliance are achieved.</li>
<li>Mentor junior designers and provide technical guidance as needed.</li>
<li>Stay current with updates to fire protection codes and standards (NFPA, IBC, IFC, etc.).</li>
