Job Description</b><p><br>
We are seeking a talented Technologist, Firmware Engineering to join our innovative team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining firmware for embedded systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of our cutting-edge products.</p><ul><li>
Design and develop firmware for <b>solid state drive (SSD) products using C and C++</b></li><li>
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams during all phases of product development</li><li>
Design and develop debug infrastructure for enabling quick diagnosis of failures</li><li>
Design and develop applications to collect and analyze diagnostic data, debug logs and event data</li><li>
Provide guidance to Quality Assurance teams for system level product test execution</li><li>
Review system and board level specifications to ensure all FW features, verification, and diagnostic requirements are feasible and properly incorporated</li><li>
Develop processes to identify embedded system design issues early in the product development lifecycle</li><li>
Drive issue resolution and product stability to enable predictable and high quality product development</li><li>
Provide mentorship to junior engineers as needed</li></ul><br>
<b>
Qualifications</b><br>
<ul><li>
BE or ME/M Tech degree in Computer/Electronics/Electrical/IT Engineering or related field</li><li>
14+ years of experience in<b> firmware development for embedded systems</b></li><li>
Strong proficiency in <b>C/C++ programming languages</b></li><li>
In-depth knowledge of microcontroller architectures and embedded systems</li><li>
Experience with <b>real-time operating systems (RTOS)</b> and their implementation</li><li>
Knowledge of <b>NAND flash </b>and/or other non-volatile storage technologies</li><li>
Ability to analyze complex firmware &amp; hardware issues</li><li>
Strong debugging skills using equipment such as logic analyzers and Protocol analyzers</li><li>
Knowledge of software design, real-time operating systems, and hardware-software interfaces</li><li>
In-depth storage protocol experience including<b> PCIe &amp; NVMe</b></li><li>
Demonstrated ability in creative problem solving and innovation</li><li>
Strong team player, effective communication skills, and highly motivated</li><li>
Knowledge of agile development and self-managed development teams from design to production</li></ul><div>
