The Welder is responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and components using various welding techniques and fitting skills. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints, follow safety protocols, and ensure high-quality workmanship. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of welding processes, materials, and tools, along with a commitment to precision and safety in a fast-paced environment.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Your Responsibilities Will Be:</b></div><ul><li>
Prior knowledge of specific welding processes and techniques such as GMAW, FCAW, GTAW is preferred.</li><li>
Demonstrated proficiency reading and interpreting such items as: fabrication drawings, diagrams, sketches, work orders, welding symbols, etc.</li><li>
Successfully complete Peerless initial and on-going job training programs in work functions, lean manufacturing and other topics as presented by the company.</li><li>
Maintain compliance with Engineering Documentation Notes above the minimum threshold established, and from time to time revised by the company for the position.</li><li>
Fit and assemble metal parts using hand tools, clamps, and welding equipment.</li><li>
Operate cutting, grinding, burning, lifting, and finishing tools safely and efficiently.</li></ul><ul><li>
Lay out, position, align, and fit components together
</li><li>Communicates to supervisor/lead and co-workers, and all sub-standard material, drawings, parts or other conditions that do not meet company quality standards; upholds only the highest of quality standards.
</li><li>Adheres to all safety policies and procedures in accordance with guidelines established by the Company/OSHA.</li><li>
Pursues safety initiatives in support of the Company&rsquo;s vision of &ldquo;zero accidents&rdquo; by following protocol and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area</li><li>
Allocates time efficiently and effectively keeping track of critical information, schedules and deadlines.</li><li>
Understands and comply with all company policies and procedures as well as additional legal regulatory requirements.</li><li>
Must wear all applicable safety equipment which includes, but is not limited to, safety glasses, gloves and steel-toed boots.

Required Qualifications:</b></div><ul><li>
2+ years of experience is a plus</li><li>
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in welding preferred.</li><li>
Proven experience as a welder fitter in a manufacturing or construction environment.</li><li>
Proficiency in various welding techniques and equipment.</li><li>
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.</li><li>
Strong attention to detail and quality.</li><li>
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.</li><li>
Knowledge of safety standards and procedures.</li></ul><div><br>

<li>Selects fabrication equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding procedures.</li>
<li>Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding.</li>
<li>Sets up equipment and welds parts using Arc, Gas-Shielded Arc, or Gas Welding equipment.</li>
<li>May assemble parts by bolting.</li>
<li>Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping and reassembling parts. In some cases, fabrication equipment may be uses to perform the function above such as plate rolling machines, plate cutting machines, cutting torch or other welding fabrication equipment.</li>
<li>Clean pole and welds as required</li>
<li>Accountable and responsible for essential tools and equipment provided along w/ the maintaining of these tools and equipment.</li>
<li>Within the scope of the job requirements, will be required to adhere and comply with state and federal law, the Company ISO Quality Program and procedures, Company policies and Safety and Environmental Regulations.</li>
