What You will Do</b></p><ul><li>
Form, fit, and fabricate metal and nonmetallic piping systems in marine vessels to engineering drawing during all phases of construction and rebuilds from spools and installation through sea trials.</li><li>
Perform job functions in range of work environments, including, fabrication shop, on modular jigs, or on finished assembly.</li><li>
Layout, cut, prepare, and assemble spools, piping systems in modals and final assembly.</li><li>
Measure, cut, thread, or bend pipe to required angle, using hand or power tools or machines such as pipe cutters, pipe-threading machines, or pipe-bending machines</li><li>
Use a variety of power and hand tools including pipe wrenches, union wrenches, threading machines, tube and pipe benders, etc.</li><li>
Work from blueprints both in standard and metric to build complex piping systems, spools, and foundations for piping system packages.</li><li>
Perform basic tack and minor welds with MIG and Arc welding processes.</li><li>

Summary Objective</b></div><div>
To have experienced working knowledge of the Insulated Metal Panel installation, Assembly and the various terminologies, blueprint reading, measurements, take outs, job specifications, etc., to build an integrally complete erection system.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Essential Functions</b></div><ul><li>
Fluent in understanding job specification, blueprint reading, target point measurements, true /plumb /square checking, and any necessary torque requirements, for large industrial structural steel systems.</li><li>
The ability to cut, prep, fit and tack small to large; IMP&rsquo;s, Flashing, etc., from various material types through true-plumb-square; into weld ready status, using isometric and structural drawings, while adhering to specific fit tolerance requirements.</li><li>
The ability to properly select, measure, hand dress, and cut with grinder, power saws, hand tools, etc., as necessary to prepare IMP process to be completed per job specific requirements.</li><li>
Strong structural aptitude and problem solver who can understand and follow instruction.</li><li>
Accountability for completion of daily work assignments while monitoring quality, safety, and health regulations.</li><li>
Operate overhead cranes and or forklifts, while adhering to industry standard practices of safe rigging systems and techniques.</li><li>
Safely and efficiently direct and monitor two or more helpers.</li><li>
Documentation of all quality reporting methods employed per SEA Quality Standards.</li><li>
Complies with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements and is physically / medically qualified to wear required PPE per OSHA standards.</li><li>
Responsibilities may require sedentary work, including but not limited to computer operation, video review, classroom or online training, job observations/inspections, and peer work review.</li><li>

Work Environment</b></div><div>
This position operates out of a fabrication facility. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is sometimes exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.</div><div></div><div><b><br>

Expected Hours of Work</b></div><div>
This is a full-time position. The first shift days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.</div><div>
Second shift days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Occasional weekend work may be required as job duties demand.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Travel</b></div><div>
Travel is primarily not required except for local travel during the business day.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Required Education and Experience</b></div><ul><li>
Basic math and language skills are required.</li><li>
Grinding, welding, brazing, rigging, and cutting sheet metal.</li><li>
1 Year related experience or training</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Preferred Education and Experience</b></div><ul><li>
2 Years&rsquo; experience in Insulated Metal Panels (IMP).</li><li>
Some vocational technical training is desired.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Work Authorization</b></div><div>
Must be authorized to work in the USA.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
