Our Fixed Income platform is looking for a Fixed Income Trader. In this exciting and dynamic role, we&rsquo;ll trust you with day-to-day fixed income management including trade execution/optimization, exposure monitoring, and providing hedging strategy recommendations. 
We&rsquo;ll trust you to:<ul><li>
Execute/negotiate all fixed income asset (including but not limited to US IG, US HY, Global, Emerging Markets, structured products, convertibles, municipals), foreign exchange (spots, forwards, options), derivatives (IRS, CDS, futures) related to a variety of products (both developed and emerging markets)</li><li>
Analyze and track macro market trends and movements for investment idea generation</li><li>
Liaise with internal contacts, such as marketing, accounting, and settlements, as well as external contacts</li></ul>

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $100,000 &ndash; $125,000 USD. Role Overview
The Manager &ndash; Fixed Income Settlements is responsible for leading a team supporting the settlement of fixed income securities across multiple products and legal entities. Job Description
Responsible for having an understanding of fixed income products in order to support advisors with growing their fixed income business. Identify and promote fixed income trading ideas and strategies. Build and maintain positive and professional relationships with advisors and other external business partners.
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Demonstrate an expert understanding of fixed income products and proactively provide fixed income trade ideas and strategies to Advisors.</li><li>
Skillfully deepen relationships with advisors within territory and articulate how capital markets trading activities and trends influence client&rsquo;s product holdings. Responsible for a geographic area of coverage to support advisor sales of fixed income products.</li><li>
Cultivate the deep understanding and present fixed income portfolio ideas and recommendations to advisors in a proactive way.</li><li>
Demonstrate the communication skills, etiquette and confidence to convey fixed income concepts into information that is digestible by varied audiences. Provide expert fixed income guidance to advisors that is crucial to the successful implementation as well as on-going servicing of the affluent account.</li><li>
With guidance, understand and translate the strategic economic views of the firm, IRG (Investment Research Group), and the trading desk into actionable portfolio recommendations that are aligned with the Firms&rsquo; overall outlook. Provide input to help shape the investment strategy messaging in partnership with wealth management, IRG and marketing.</li><li>
Support fixed income trading strategists with portfolio creation and rebalancing ideas.</li><li> 
Required Qualifications</li><li>
3+ years of relevant experience</li><li>
Ability to gain Series 7 within reasonable time of hiring</li><li>
Active to gain Series 63/66 within reasonable time of hiring</li><li>
Demonstrated knowledge of fixed income securities, financial markets, portfolio strategy, economics and marketing products</li><li>
Advanced understanding of fixed income regulatory issues</li><li>
Proven ability to build strong partnerships &amp; relationships and coach and influence appropriately</li></ul>
Base Pay Salary
The estimated base salary for this role is $75,000- $85,000 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
