<b>What You'll Do</b><br>

You'll be responsible for coordinating and managing the logistics of fleet operations, ensuring that all vehicles are maintained and repaired promptly. You will:<br>

Assess and assign all open events.</li></ul><br>
<ul><li>
Verify proper authorization has been obtained to dispatch the event.</li></ul><br>
<ul><li>
Assign the appropriate and nearest service provider to make requested repairs.</li></ul><br>
<ul><li>
Advise the customer of the estimated time of arrival and follow instructions according to their requirements.</li></ul><br>
<ul><li>
Inform supervisor on duty of any delays with the service provider's estimated time of arrival or problems with repairs.</li></ul><br>
<ul><li>
Address problems and customer inquiries as they arise.</li></ul><br>

The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as an advanced degree or certification in a related discipline (Medium/Heavy Duty Truck Technology) or 5 years of experience in a related field (Dispatching for breakdown and/or tire, medium to heavy duty vehicle maintenance).</li></ul><br>

<b>Compensation:</b><br>

Hourly pay rate is in the range of $18.17 - $27.31/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.<br>

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of 6.67 hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. ROLE OVERVIEW and PURPOSE:</b></p>
<p>
The Fleet Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the Fleet Manager with scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of fleet vehicles and equipment. Manage invoices, work orders, inspections, and other paperwork in multiple systems. The role ensures that the fleet is safe, reliable, and compliant with company and regulatory standards.</p>
<p><b>
RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></p>
<p><b><i>
Maintenance and Repairs</i></b></p>
<ul>
<li>Assist with scheduling routine preventative maintenance, managing vehicle repairs, and tracking historical health data in multiple systems.</li>
<li>Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system issues and recommend solutions.</li>
</ul>
<p><b><i>Compliance and Documentation</i></b></p>
<ul>
<li>Maintain accurate records of all inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.</li>
<li>Ensure vehicles meet federal, state, and local safety regulations and standards.</li>
<li>Prepare vehicles for inspections when required.</li>
<li>Manage and audit vehicle databases for accuracy and completeness.</li>
</ul>
<p><b><i>Inventory and Tools</i></b></p>

<li> Manage parts inventory, ensuring availability of required components and tools.</li>

</ul><p><b>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:</b></p>

<li><p>2+ years of experience in fleet operations/support or a similar role <b>required.</b></p>

<li><p>Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)</p>

<li><p>Prior experience with fleet management software; Fleetio, Samsara, Motive or similar preferred.</p>
</li>
<li><p>Valid CA driver&rsquo;s license and proof of auto insurance <b>required</b>, CDL preferred</p>

<li><p>Must be able to operate vehicles up to 40ft in length.</p>
