 Flight Operations Specialist performs operational and administrative duties as designated by the flight operations coordinator to facilitate an efficient and safe flow of both air and ground maneuvers.

Job Summary

The Cirrus Approach team is seeking a highly motivated, creative, and detail-orientated person who is ready to apply their aviation, education, and design expertise to the exciting challenges of flight training design and development. Flight Training Developers manage and grow our global training curriculum and learning content for the SR-series and SF50 Vision Jet&trade; aircraft. This person will drive the future of aviation education by providing quality flight instruction and developing innovative learning solutions. As a Flight Training Developer, you&rsquo;ll be collaborating with a cross-functional group of media and software developers to build new flight training products and services. You will specialize in content design and development for flying the SR-series of Cirrus aircraft. You will play a vital role as an SR-series subject matter expert, where you are relied on to ensure the content is accurate and meaningful.

This position requires you to take a supporting role in the company's flight activities. You'll be expected to perform CFR 14 Part 91 corporate flight operations, demonstration flights, ferry flights, flight training, and evaluation flights. Customer service and interpersonal skills are essential when in this role. Our pilots engage with customers daily, delivering the highest quality and personalized flight instruction possible.

Serves as an Air Traffic Control Specialist for GCA operations and procedures with potential oversight of assigned ATC specialist. Operates fixed GCA facilities. Provide positive control for arriving rotary and fixed-wing aircraft. <div>Airfield Operations Specialist Shift Lead / Training Manager is responsible maintaining situational awareness of airfield activities and overall responsibility for Airfield Management Operations (AMOPS) section while on duty in order to provide a safe, efficient, and effective airfield environment for aircraft operations.<ul>

 Your Impact
 
 
 
 The
 
 Air Traffic Controller
 
 provides for the safe, orderly, and expeditious flow of air traffic in the assigned airspace or airport and assists aircraft in distress or emergency situations.
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Receive, post, and relay flight data information, clearances, and messages.
 </li>
 <li>
 Issue arrival and departure instructions, aviation weather information, and special advisories to aircraft operating under their control.
 </li>
 <li>
 Issue information and clearances for properly separating and sequencing aircraft and monitors the flight progress of aircraft.
 </li>
 <li>
 Issue information and instructions for the orderly movement of traffic (aircraft, vehicles, and pedestrians) in the movement area.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with other controllers, facilities, and agencies to provide prompt ATC services.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate arrival and departure times with flight operations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate ramp and refuel services for aircraft.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist aircraft in emergency or distress situations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain facility logs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform operator-level equipment checks and advise maintenance personnel and Facility Chief of any outages.
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow FAA, ICAO, DOD, and host nation aviation regulations and procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Complete annual weather training to take and disseminate supplemental weather observations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in facility operations as directed by Shift Leader.

 Who You Are
 
 
 
 
 Required Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Must have computer skills and be able to operate a variety of computer programs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently
 </li>
 <li>
 Must maintain a valid driver&rsquo;s license from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment date.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must maintain a valid passport from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment date
 </li>
 <li>
 Must satisfy and maintain CENTCOM MOD-17 medical requirements
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be able to gain and maintain authorized entry onto US military installations.
 </li>
 <li>

 Additional Required Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Ability to travel domestically and internationally
 </li>
 <li>
 Graduate of a US military air traffic control school or FAA Academy.
 </li>
 <li>
 Air Traffic Control Specialist (ATCS) certificate.
 </li>
 <li>
 FAA Control Tower Operator Certificate of CTO Certificate of Grades.
 </li>
 <li>
 Military MOS Army 15Q training preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Three (3) or more years of commercial and / or military experience in air traffic services.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to pass Class IV Army flight physical.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work night and day shift in austere environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Some heavy lifting may be required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Living and working conditions at assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable.
 </li>
 <li>
 Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions.
