Raytheon Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&amp;TC) is seeking a Test Pilot to join our Raytheon Flight Test Operations (FTO) team. This role is responsible for supporting multiple functions in the planning and execution of manned flight test missions. Responsibilities include coordination with engineering and maintenance, subject matter expertise on our flight test planning, mission execution, flight operations support, and coordinating logistics for flight test deployments. This position is an onsite role and can be based in either Ontario, California or Tucson, Arizona with occasional travel to support Raytheon Flight Test Operations.
What You Will Do<ul><li>
Plan and coordinate flight test missions involving military ranges and FAA airspace.</li><li>
Conduct internal flight test readiness evaluations and coordinate customer airworthiness audits.</li><li>
Lead mission planning, coordination briefings, and contribute to test reporting.</li><li>
Coordinate aircraft maintenance activities and liaison with subcontracted support team.</li><li>
Qualify and maintain currency for Raytheon FTO test aircraft, including B737-800, CL601, B727-200, and C206 as a test pilot crew member.</li><li>
Perform work in classified and SAP environments.</li><li>
Travel up to 20% to support flight test deployments or technical interchange meetings. Typical travel sites include Ontario, CA; Tucson, AZ; Eglin AFB, FL; and short duration travel for CONUS and OCONUS flight test deployments in support of RTX programs.</li></ul>
Qualifications You Must Have<ul><li>
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience.</li><li>
Flight test experience required within the last 10 years.</li><li>
Commercial Pilot Certificate and ability to hold an FAA First Class medical and Airline Transport Pilot certificate.</li><li>
2,000 hours pilot time with a minimum of 500 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC). Applicants must also have 1,500 turbine experience with multi-engine turbine experience desired.</li><li>

Flight Simulation Software Engineer (Associate, Experienced, and Senior)

We&rsquo;re looking for experienced Simulator Engineers to join our Engineering team and help keep five Level D full-flight simulators operating at peak performance (AW139, AW169, Bell 412, EMB‑145 and King Air 350).

In this role, you&rsquo;ll carry out routine technical work, perform first-line troubleshooting, and work with the team to maintain all devices to their qualification standards.
What you&rsquo;ll be doing<ul><li>
Support Flight Simulator Training Devices and/or Cabin Crew Training Devices by attending maintenance calls and handling device set-up, conversions and demos.</li><li>
Independently complete Preventive Maintenance Tasks (PMTs) and Daily Readiness (DR) on all devices and associated systems. Oversee and sign off the work of Simulator Support Assistants on more complex PMTs/tasks. Keep PMT/DR records accurate, up to date and always available.</li><li>
Run recurrent QTGs and perform first-line troubleshooting using schematics and aircraft/device system documentation. Use the Maintenance Management System to record, track and review maintenance activity.</li><li>
Support recurrent data and content updates (Nav DB, Terr DB, OIS and EFB charts, documents and performance data), including IOS lesson plan uploads and troubleshooting. Maintain accurate records of all updates.</li><li>
Maintain stock control of consumables and tooling, and raise requests to ensure the team has what it needs to complete PMTs and DR activities.</li><li>
Support logistics activities such as annual inventories, stores re-organisation, packing and shipping preparation. Carry out housekeeping and administrative tasks to support the Technical Services group as required.</li><li>
Work in line with local and global CAE Environmental Health &amp; Safety standards and safe working procedures, taking duty of care for your own H&amp;S and that of others.</li></ul>
What you&rsquo;ll bring<ul><li>
Technical College Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or an Aviation-related field</li><li>
At least 2 years&rsquo; experience working with flight simulators</li><li>
Excellent English skills (spoken and written)</li><li>
Customer-focused, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships</li><li>
Strong working knowledge of computer architecture, networking, operating systems and programming languages, with the ability to make minor software changes</li><li>
Solid technical capability (hardware and software) and familiarity with flight simulator technical issues across systems (e.g., motion, visual, avionics, dynamics of flight and aircraft systems)</li><li>
Working knowledge of a range of aircraft types, including commercial jetliners</li><li>
Good understanding of aircraft and training device terminology</li><li>
Good understanding of commercial aviation training</li><li>

This role involves ensuring the robust and reliable operation of critical data links and evaluating cutting-edge capabilities within an aviation context.
As a Test Engineer your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:
<ul><li>Develop and execute test strategies, plans, procedures, and reports for aviation data transfer software, middleware, APIs, and supporting services.
