Position Summary:
With our continued growth and success, we are excited to hire a part-time NP to join our dynamic treatment team in Danbury, CT. Our company is medically-based, so as the NP, you will provide exceptional patient care to clients, helping them achieve their desired aesthetic results. Deliver laser hair removal treatments according to established medical protocols.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Provide laser hair removal treatments: Perform all laser hair removal treatments within established medical treatment protocols. Educate patients on laser hair removal pre/post treatment care recommendations. Record clear and accurate medical documentation in patient charts. Handle client information privately and respectfully in compliance with HIPAA. Ensure a professional, clean work environment to include prepping the treatment room in between clients. Provide world class customer service to clients.</li>
<li>Drive Sales: Encourage clients to complete online reviews. Engage with clients to discuss laser hair removal results and suggest additional areas to get treated, per the Milan Upsell Best Practices.</li>
<li>Operational Duties: Clean and perform minor maintenance on the laser to ensure proper functionality. Schedule and confirm appointments, communicate with clients and maintain and update client records, field incoming calls, and support medical staff with treatment room upkeep, perform opening and closing duties and process client financial transactions.</li>
<li>Other Duties: Performs additional tasks, duties, and responsibilities as needed or assigned by leadership to support departmental and organizational objectives</li>

Requirements:
<ul><li>Current applicable Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in good standing, along with active national certification as a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC) is required</li>
<li>For Connecticut, Idaho, Louisiana, Oregon, South Dakota, South Carolina, and Washington: Current applicable Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in good standing, along with either active national certification as a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC) or a Certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP-BC or AGNP-C), is required</li>

The Urology Nurse Practitioner provides advanced nursing care for patients with urologic conditions, including urinary tract disorders, kidney stones, prostate issues, and urologic cancers. The NP works collaboratively with urologists and the healthcare team to evaluate, diagnose, manage, and follow up on medical and surgical treatments. Conduct detailed patient histories and physical examinations focused on urologic conditions. 
 
Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests such as urinalysis, ultrasound, CT scans, cystoscopy, and lab work. 
 
Manage acute and chronic urologic issues including urinary tract infections, incontinence, prostate enlargement, and kidney stones. 
 
Provide preoperative and postoperative care for urologic surgeries. 
 
Educate patients on diagnosis, treatment options, medication use, and lifestyle modifications. 
 
Perform minor procedures within scope of practice, such as catheterization, bladder scans, and dressing changes. 
 
Collaborate with urologists, oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists for comprehensive patient care.

Marshfield Medical Center &ndash; Minocqua is seeking a Urology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Minocqua, Wisconsin. The Surgical Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant provides patient services under the supervision of a licensed physician, according to Nurse Practitioner /Physician Assistant Protocol, and within the scope of the Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant License in the State of Wisconsin. The Surgical Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant ensures continuity between clinical practice and standards of care as well as promotes and aids in patient preparation for discharge. This individual works collaboratively with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other health care disciplines utilizing a team approach to healthcare. 
 
In this role, you will assist with a busy Urology practice alongside two physicians and a Physician Assistant. This position will see patients in clinic as well as assist in the OR. Call will be a part of this role at a rotation of 1:7 and will include all surgery specialties. 
 
Job Summary 
 
The Urology Nurse Practitioner provides advanced nursing care for patients with urologic conditions, including urinary tract disorders, kidney stones, prostate issues, and urologic cancers. The NP works collaboratively with urologists and the healthcare team to evaluate, diagnose, manage, and follow up on medical and surgical treatments. Conduct detailed patient histories and physical examinations focused on urologic conditions. 
 
Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests such as urinalysis, ultrasound, CT scans, cystoscopy, and lab work. 
 
Manage acute and chronic urologic issues including urinary tract infections, incontinence, prostate enlargement, and kidney stones. 
 
Provide preoperative and postoperative care for urologic surgeries. 
 
Educate patients on diagnosis, treatment options, medication use, and lifestyle modifications. 
 
Perform minor procedures within scope of practice, such as catheterization, bladder scans, and dressing changes. 
 
Collaborate with urologists, oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists for comprehensive patient care. 
 
Document patient encounters, treatment plans, and follow-ups accurately in electronic medical records. 
 
Participate in patient education programs and quality improvement initiatives. 
 
Qualifications 
 
Master&rsquo;s or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. 
 
If APRN was licensed prior to August 1, 1995, master's degree in nursing is preferred. 
 
Experience in urology or related clinical setting preferred. 
 
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in each state of practice. 
 
Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe controlled substances in each state of practice. 
 
State Controlled Substance License (if required by State) 
 
National board certification as a Family (NP-C) or (FNP-BC) 
 
Obtains and subsequently maintains required specific competencies and certifications as outlined on privilege form.
