About You:

As a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), you work directly with manufacturers to design, build, and deploy solutions on Tulip's Frontline Operations Platform. You operate at the intersection of solution engineering, manufacturing operations, and customer outcomes, translating real shop-floor problems into scalable, production-ready solutions.

You will embed with customers at their facility to rapidly implement applications, integrations, and workflows that improve quality, productivity, and traceability across manufacturing operations.

<li>5+ years of experience in manufacturing, industrial software, or manufacturing-focused technology roles, with at least 4 years of experience in direct, customer-facing or consultant roles</li>
<li>Ability to walk a shop floor and independently identify opportunities for operational improvement</li>
<li>Experience with Operations Technology, including MES, ERP, quality, or production systems (Architecture and implementation experience strongly preferred)</li>
<li>Experience integrating systems and devices in manufacturing environments</li>

Customer-Embedded Solution Delivery

<li>Partner with plant-level and corporate stakeholders at a customer's site (operators, engineers, IT, quality, operations leadership)</li>
<li>Lead design, build, and deployment of customer-specific Tulip solutions</li>

OT / IT Integration

The Team

The Celonis Business Apps IT is a team of product enthusiasts and data engineers that focuses on developing best-in class composable AI solutions in the domain of System Transformations (migrations such as SAP ECC to S/4, introduction of new software, system landscape consolidation, etc.). The Role

We're looking for a hybrid between a product manager and an engineer. Someone who can sit with a customer, understand a transformation pain point, and then go design and build the solution together with the rest of the team rather than handing it off. You'll operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where shipping quickly matters more than perfect process, and where the line between &quot;designing the product&quot; and &quot;building the product&quot; is intentionally blurry. The qualifications you need

<li>A track record of building coherent product offerings, not just isolated features. You think in terms of the whole solution and how the pieces fit together</li>
<li>Technical and tech-savvy: comfortable in data (SQL, PQL, Python, MCP, Agents), able to prototype and build, and quick to pick up new tools and platforms</li>
<li>Preferrably, demonstrated knowledge in SAP system composition (functional and/or SAP base)</li>
<li>Demonstrated knowledge of what it means to modernize applications and whole enterprise system landscapes</li>
<li>Knowledge of enterprise architecture (system landscapes, capabilities, integrations) is a plus</li>
