</li><li>You have 3+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience, with at least one production system you'd be proud to walk us through - ideally in an AI tech stack, full-stack development, or working with frontier models

Your tasks and responsibilities
<ul><li>Problem Discovery &amp; Feasibility: Partner with business leads, technical teams to review feasibility of AI use cases, identify technical bottlenecks and lead development of the required AI solutions from GenAI prompt engineering requests, to implementing RAG (retrieval augmented generation) pipeline, and end-to-end orchestrating of a full agentic solution.
</li><li>Tactical Implementation: Evaluate implementation requirements of AI use cases across various Airbus networks / deployment environments and available technology to make critical decisions to minimize end-user / operations impacts and individual AI use cases on the business. This may involve revision of API services, data connectors with tech. teams, optimization of prompts with end-users, and fine-tuning of available LLM (large language models) for optimal fit-for-purpose.
</li><li>Implementation of Agentic Systems: Where appropriate, drive key decisions on the design / implementation of Agentic AI workflows, enabling the GenAI platform to act as an orchestrator of multi-staging tasks, internal platforms, systems and tools while ensuring adherence to ethical guidelines of AI use.

Job Description 
We are looking for an experienced Lead AI Systems Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise AI platforms across our organisation.
In this role, you will own the end-to-end engineering lifecycle of enterprise AI technologies&mdash;including Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, Microsoft Power Platform, and Workato&mdash;ensuring they are secure, scalable, and aligned with enterprise architecture, security standards, and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do
As our Lead AI Systems Engineer, you'll lead the engineering, deployment, and continuous improvement of enterprise AI platforms. You'll design secure and scalable AI solutions, build integrations between enterprise systems, and establish governance standards that support responsible AI adoption.
Working closely with Security, Architecture, Legal, Privacy, Data, and Business teams, you'll ensure AI platforms comply with organisational policies and regulatory requirements while delivering measurable business value. Qualifications

At least 3 years' experience implementing or supporting enterprise AI, automation, or productivity platforms.</li><li>
Hands-on experience with at least two of the following:<ul><li>
Microsoft Copilot (M365 or Copilot Studio)</li><li>

Workato</li></ul></li><li>
Experience designing secure enterprise solutions using Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles.</li><li>

Experience implementing enterprise security controls such as OAuth, RBAC, Conditional Access, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).</li><li>
