Job Summary
 
 
The Vice President of Finance serves as the senior financial leader for the operating businesses within the Purpose Brands portfolio. This role partners closely with the business President(s) and executive team to drive financial performance, operational excellence, and long-term value creation &mdash; while maintaining alignment with the platform&rsquo;s shared financial strategy and governance standards.
 
 
The VP of Finance is both a strategic partner and a hands-on operator, responsible for financial planning, reporting, risk management, and supporting key growth initiatives across the business.
 
 
This role also has oversight and responsibility for the consolidation of the Purpose Brand&rsquo;s enterprise budgets, forecasts and actual results ensuring that the Monthly Operating Reviews are completed accurately and on time.
 
 
In this role, the VP of Finance with work with the Private Equity Partner as well as the CFO for any M&amp;A activities and support any future capital structure changes to the Company. 
 
Purpose/Impact: (Duties &amp; Essential Functions)
Strategic Leadership
<ul><li>Serve as a key member of the Brand(s) leadership team, driving financial and operational strategies that support business growth and profitability.
</li><li>Partner with the Brand President(s) and the CFO to develop annual budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans.
</li><li>Provide strategic insights and data-driven recommendations to inform investment, pricing, and expansion decisions.
</li><li>Oversee the manager supporting the brand(s)
</li></ul>Financial Planning &amp; Analysis (FP&amp;A)
<ul><li>Lead forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes for the Brand and its associated departments.
</li><li>Partner with the data and analytics team to deliver monthly business review (MBR) that is timely and insightful including analysis of performance drivers, risks, and opportunities.
</li><li>Monitor KPIs and business trends to guide decision-making and operational improvements.
</li><li>Partner with the platform&rsquo;s shared services accounting team to maintain accurate and efficient month-end and year-end close processes, reviewing A/R reserves and deferrals from domestic and if applicable the international franchisees and ensuring payment of royalties and fees.
</li><li>Partner on audits with Master Franchisees ensuring reporting, compliance and receipt of all required fees.
</li></ul>Operational &amp; Commercial Partnership
<ul><li>Collaborate with the Brand(s) to evaluate pricing strategies, margin improvement, and ROI on key initiatives.
</li><li>Support business case development for new initiatives, investments, and partnerships.
</li></ul>Team Leadership &amp; Development
<ul><li>Lead and develop a high-performing finance team that combines analytical rigor with business partnership.

</li><li>Act as a liaison between the Brand(s) and the shared services finance team to ensure alignment and knowledge sharing.
</li></ul>Strengths and Background
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
</li><li>10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including FP&amp;A, operations finance, and accounting oversight.
</li><li>Experience in a multi-entity or platform environment strongly preferred (private equity or multi-brand operator a plus).

What We're Looking For

This candidate will be a direct report to the Head of FP&amp;A. You will be responsible for leading a team in budgeting, forecasting, and presenting to the CEO and senior audiences the financial and business performance of the company. This person will play a critical leadership role in assisting Finance leadership and senior management to make profitable, data-driven strategic decisions. In addition to overseeing the HQ central consolidation FP&amp;A team, this role will have a strong focus on pre-IPO readiness and external investor communications, ensuring internal financial insights are effectively translated for external stakeholders. Responsibilities include business case development, hiring and team development, process improvements, analytics, and data/system governance.

Responsibilities:

<li>Lead the annual budgeting process, cross-functional analysis, long-term financial forecasting, monthly Board reporting, and special projects (including strategic initiatives and finance transformation)</li>
<li>Build robust repeatable processes for external reporting and investor communications; partner with Investor Relations to craft clear, data-driven narratives for external audiences</li>
<li>Provide analysis of the monthly P&amp;L report: financial results versus forecast, prior year, and budget. Perform revenue, margin, and operating expense variance analysis. Oversee headcount tracking and benefits analysis</li>
<li>Deliver deep insights and strategies to assist with business KPIs and strategic decision-making</li>
<li>Support long-term financial elements of strategic planning and capital markets readiness</li>
<li>Drive process improvements and governance of financial data and systems across FP&amp;A</li>

Requirements:

<li>Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred</li>
<li>Minimum of 12&ndash;15 years' experience in FP&amp;A and strategic finance roles; experience in a public company environment is highly preferred</li>
<li>Banking finance/reporting experience is a must; high-tech or growth company experience is a plus</li>
<li>Strong background in external reporting and investor communications; IPO experience is a plus</li>
<li>Expert knowledge of financial planning and analysis</li>
