 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Coordinate with appointed logistics service providers to assist with the day-to-day monitoring of shipment status and report any situation which could affect the shipment of materials outside the estimated delivery period
 </li>

 As guided by the Logistics Lead assist with the management of freight quote requests and forecasting
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with any other logistics related tasks as guided and required from time to time by the Logistics Lead
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide guidance to assist project team members in establishing logistics strategy for select pieces of equipment
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with payment resolution for all relevant freight invoices
 </li>

 Preparation of all logistics reporting required by the Owners team
 </li>

 Investigate work process non-compliance determining root cause and recommending corrective action
 </li>

 Contribute to work process improvements participate in an empowered team

 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Associates degree in Logistics Management or Supply Chain or 5 years of project logistics/Supply Chain experience is preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Mega Capital Projects experience preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in creating and negotiating freight forwarding contract a plus
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in Microsoft Word Excel Power Point Access. SAP and Smart Materials is a bonus
 </li>

 Experience associated with freight management contract compliance
 </li>
