Overview:

AIT is seeking a Dispatcher I! We are flexible on start time, if needed along with extra hours to be earned on the weekends, if applicable.</div><div>
The Dispatcher I is responsible for overseeing and documenting the pickup and delivery of local shipments, as well as coordinating and communicating shipment information between drivers and delivery agents.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Responsible for routing local freight, dispatching drivers, performing dock checks, tracking shipments, working with dock staff members to ensure movement of freight.</li><li>
Timely event data entry of shipment milestones into MyAIT &amp; AS400 tracking system &ndash; pickup, delivery, obtain proof of delivery.</li><li>
Provide customer service to identify and meet specific customer needs. Answer/make customer inquiry calls and address customer concerns/complaints.</li><li>
Assign driver load planning based on local mapping &amp; appointments accordingly.</li><li>
Identifying and coordinating the prioritization of rushed/urgent/last minute shipments.</li><li>
Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as business demands deem necessary.</li><li>
The wage range for this position is $20.80-$29.40 and may vary based on geography as well as relative knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience</li></ul>
