 As the Front Desk Representative, you will serve as the first point of contact for students, faculty, and visitors during evening hours. You will greet and assist guests, answer questions, manage clerical tasks, and support daily campus operations with professionalism and efficiency.
 
 
 From maintaining an inviting front desk area to assisting with scheduling and basic technology support, your work will help ensure that every interaction reflects the high standards and supportive culture of ATS Institute of Technology.
 
 
 
 Key responsibilities:

 Welcome &amp; Assist: Greet students, faculty, and visitors professionally and direct inquiries to the appropriate department

 Clerical &amp; Administrative Support: Manage scheduling, phone calls, emails, and documentation to support smooth campus operations

 Basic Tech Support: Provide basic assistance with computers, printers, and copiers; coordinate service calls as needed

 Campus Presence: Help maintain the appearance, cleanliness, and safety of the front desk and student lounge areas

 Student &amp; Faculty Support: Assist with day-to-day needs and deliver excellent customer service throughout your shift

How you'll contribute 
A Front Desk Representative who excels in this role:<ul><li>
Ensures that all necessary demographic, billing, and clinical information is obtained and entered in the registration system with timeliness and accuracy.</li><li>
Greet patients and handle check-in/check-out process, including use of Clockwise system</li><li>
Enter demographics and scan patient information into EMR and properly log patient into system</li><li>
Verify patient demographic and insurance information, updating as needed</li><li>
Collect patient payments</li><li>
Answer and respond to inquiries, forward messages from patients, pharmacies, and other providers to clinical staff according to company protocol</li><li>
Maintain accurate accounting of cash drawer during shift</li><li>
Call patients to follow up on their visit to MAUC, as needed</li><li>
Maintain cleanliness and functionality of office, particularly lobby and registration area</li><li>
Performs other duties as required</li></ul>

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent (required). Additional requirements include:<ul><li>

Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical functions.</li><li>
Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively and courteously handle patient and family interactions and interactions with other staff.</li><li>
Technology proficiency: familiarity with the use of Microsoft Office Suite; ability to utilize practice management, EMR, and Clockwise software accurately and efficiently.</li><li>
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work well under pressure.</li><li>
Efficient and accurate completion of daily tasks and data entry.</li><li>
Professional appearance and manner.</li><li>
Knowledge of insurance/medical terms and policies preferred but not required.</li></ul>
