Here is what you will be doing each day:

As our Front Desk Supervisor, you will interview, hire, train, recommend performance evaluations, resolve problems, provide open communication and recommend discipline and/or termination when appropriate.

You&rsquo;ll also:

Respond to guest&rsquo;s special requests, needs, problems, issues and concerns and accommodate groups to ensure optimal levels of guest satisfaction and repeat business.

Implement company programs and supervise the daily operations of the Front Desk to comply with SOPS and LSOPs, maximize revenues, and motivate associates to ensure an optimal level of quality service and hospitality are provided to the hotel customers.

Supervise the Front Desk Agents.

Remain calm and alert, especially during emergency situations and/or heavy hotel activity, serving as a role model for clerks and other employees. Resolve customer complications and complaints by conducting thorough research of the situation and determining the most effective solutions. Make decisions and take action based on previous experience and good judgment, sometimes revising approach to accommodate unusual situation. Authorize revenue allowances to remedy problems only after other alternative solutions have been offered.

Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have at least 6 months of experience as a Front Desk Supervisor

Able to work a flexible schedule to include weekdays, weekends, morning, evening shift and holidays.

<ul><li>Ensures employees understand customer service expectations and parameters.</li></ul>

Managing Projects and Policies
<ul><li>Implements the customer recognition/service program, communicating and ensuring the process.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Trains staff and monitors adherence to all credit policies and procedures to reduce bad debts and rebates.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Supervises same day selling procedures to maximize room revenue and control property occupancy.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Supervises daily Front Desk shift operations and ensures compliance with all policies, standards and procedures.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ensures property policies are administered fairly and consistently, disciplinary procedures and documentation are completed according to Standard and Local Operating Procedures (SOPs and LSOPs) and support the Peer Review Process.</li></ul> 
 
Additional Responsibilities
<ul><li>Provides information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Analyzes information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Informs and/or updates the executives, the peers and the subordinates on relevant information in a timely manner.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Performs all duties at the Front Desk as necessary.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Runs Front Desk shifts whenever necessary.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Participates in departmental meetings and continually communicates a clear and consistent message regarding the Front Desk goals to produce desired results.</li></ul>
