Your Day at Lowe&rsquo;s
You&rsquo;ll keep shelves stocked and backrooms organized by unloading freight, moving products to the sales floor, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. You may also assist customers in locating or loading products. Most shifts are physically active, and scheduling may include morning, evening, or overnight hours based on store needs.

Working Conditions
Environmental factors vary by location. You may be working in both inside and outside weather conditions. Exposure to varying climates, including extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty conditions, is possible. You may be exposed to constant or intermittent noises in addition to moving or shaking objects and equipment.
Lifting methods vary based on role, weight, and volume. Associates must follow guidelines, limiting single lifts to 75 pounds. Team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed. Powered equipment should be used as required, with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.

The purpose of ECOS is to improve the environmental capabilities of state environmental agencies and their leaders to protect and improve human health and the environment of the United States. To facilitate that, staff work with state environmental directors to champion the role of states, provide for the exchange of ideas, foster cooperation and coordination, and articulate state positions to federal agencies, Congress, and the public. The Finance Manager also works with ECOS&rsquo; affiliated 501(c)(3) organization, the Environmental Research Institute of the States (ERIS).The Finance Manager works with ECOS management and its project staff to ensure the financial integrity and operation of the organization&rsquo;s financial systems.
