Job Summary and Qualifications</h5>
The Groundskeeper / General Mechanic will
<ul><li>Ensure that all exterior trash containers on the grounds and parking lots/decks are emptied and clean.
</li><li>Perform regular sweeps of the parking lot/decks to keep clean of all debris including parking deck stairwells and elevator foyer at red deck.</li><li>
Perform rounds at least quarterly on all mechanical rooms, roofs, and central plant to maintain clean and organized appearance.
</li><li>Keep loading dock and open dumpster area clear of wooden pallets. Dispose of in dumpster.
</li><li>Clean Plant Operations shop area, sweep and empty trash.
</li><li>Monitor maintenance needs around exterior of building while performing regular rounds and report needed repairs to supervisor.</li><li>
During inclement weather conditions assist with spreading of ice melt along walkways, etc.</li><li>
Assist other trades when needed (plumbing, mechanical, hvac, etc.)
</li><li>Assist with clean up during emergency maintenance repairs performed by maintenance.</li><li>
Stock and organize supply and material shipments in warehouse.</li><li>
Report any problems with equipment or supplies to immediate supervisor.

Qualifications
<ul><li>High school or Trade School graduation required

As an Entry Level Automotive Technician, you will gain hands-on experience in one of Goodyear's Auto Service centers by learning how to perform basic automotive services while delivering outstanding service.

Shift Information: Depending on location, our stores may be open 7 days a week, which may include weekends and some holidays

What do we consider?

<li>Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age</li>
<li>Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future</li>

Preferred Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or GED preferred</li>
<li>Previous automotive preventative maintenance experience or Previous formal automotive training</li>
</ul>
About the Role: What skills will you learn?
<ul>
<li>How to complete basic automotive services like mounting and balancing tires, tire repairs, oil changes, filters replacements, and more</li>
<li>Train with mid and senior level automotive technicians to learn additional automotive services.</li>
<li>Demonstrate excellent guest service, which includes providing clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles</li>
<li>Promote teamwork to deliver on guest expectations</li>
<li>Maintain strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation</li>
<li>Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, including consumer tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting</li>
</ul>
