This is a full time Monday-Friday role working in office with an awesome set of teammates. In this role you will assist with state business filings, inbound and outbound mail/documentation, while offering support to clients via phone and email.In a typical day you will support the processing, forwarding and recording of incoming and outgoing mail on behalf of client&rsquo;s companies including service of process and official client mail. You will also help clients navigate the complexities of business formation and registered agents service by problem solving, submitting, and following up on a variety of business filings with the Secretary of State, all while offering top notch customer service to our clients and internal teams.We love to see a cover letter! You will receive an additional $2/hour to your base wage. This stipend is subject to change based on change in your role or business decision.Responsibilities: <ul><li>Prioritize, process, open, sort, scan, track inbound mail and Service of Process. Position Summary:
 
Under general supervision of the Chief Deputy Clerk, receives, reviews, processes and records real estate and other transactions, maintains official county and public records, and assures that all documentation is properly indexed and recorded in accordance with federal and state statutes and county codes. Serves as recording clerk for the County Council and performs other Council support functions. Serves as Clerk to the Probate Court. Provides assistance to the public in person and via the telephone, fax and email. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.
 
 
Minimum Qualifications:
 
<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED.
</li><li>Registered voter in New Mexico.
</li><li>Two years&rsquo; experience in general administrative support in a customer service environment.
</li><li>Must possess or have ability to obtain within first sixty days of employment and must maintain a valid New Mexico Class D driver&rsquo;s license.
</li><li>Must possess or obtain certification as an Election Technician by the Secretary of State&rsquo;s Office before the first primary or general election and maintain thereafter.
</li><li>Must successfully complete a thorough background investigation.

Additional Minimum Qualifications for Sr. Deputy Clerk:
 
<ul><li>Four years&rsquo; experience in a Clerk&rsquo;s office, with one year experience performing document processing or election administrative support.

<ul><li>Associate&rsquo;s Degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Communication, Political Science, Public Administration or related field.
