<div>Position Overview:
The Housekeeping Dispatcher is responsible for handling telephone inquiries and requests for services, ensuring superior service to all patrons and guests of the Hotel/Casino. The Housekeeping Dispatcher will conform to all Housekeeping standards. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Mount Airy Casino Resort policies and procedures, Internal Control standards and Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board regulations.
Essential Job Functions:<ul><li>
Promotes positive guest, employee and public relations at all times.</li><li>
Responsible for the quality, consistency and presentation of all products and services.</li><li>
Handles and responds to telephone inquiries and requests for department services. Dispatches all requests promptly and appropriately.</li><li>
Prepares documents and provides office support.</li><li>
Ensures prompt communications with supervision relaying all guest and employee concerns.</li><li>
Coordinates and communicates with related areas to ensure effective guest and internal service.</li><li>
Assists in other projects and handles job tasks as deemed appropriate.</li><li>
Meets attendance guidelines and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.</li></ul><div>
Essential Job Requirements:<ul><li>
Must be able to perform each of the essential functions and responsibilities satisfactorily.</li><li>
Must be a minimum 18 years of age or older upon employment.</li><li>
High School Diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>
One year of Hospitality/Housekeeping dispatch experience preferred.
</li><li>Possesses excellent customer service and communication skills.</li><li>
Possesses strong interpersonal qualities.</li><li>
Flexible to work any scheduled shifts and/or days, including weekends and holidays.</li><li>
Ability to perform basic calculations.</li><li>
Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid Pennsylvania Gaming License, if necessary.</li></ul>

Purpose of Position
The Dispatcher position is responsible to ensure timely, accurate and efficient service to GWI customers and drivers. Requires strong problem-solving skills, leadership, mentoring abilities, multi-tasking and superior communications ability. 
 
Primary Job Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Ensure Independent Contractor satisfaction by facilitating load distribution.</li>
<li>Achieve driver retention and growth goals by ensuring driver success while maintaining strong relationships with the independent contractors and employee drivers.</li>
<li>Work closely with critical departments (e.g., Safety, Driver Recruitment, Customer Service, Sales) to best serve our drivers (independent contractor and employee) and internal and external customers.</li>
<li>Promote a culture of Operational Excellence focused on safety and quality.</li>
<li>Execute daily workload while ensuring customer requirements are met to achieve World Class service.</li>
<li>Track and manage all Gulf Winds equipment to ensure proper utilization.</li>
<li>Cross-train to cover workload distribution when the Terminal Manager is out.</li>
<li>Openly communicate challenges/opportunities as they arise along with creative solutions to overcome.</li>
<li>Manage cost with a focus to increase profitability of the terminal as well as minimizing cost to our customers.</li>
<li>Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness/up-keep of the facility, as well as ensuring the facility is stocked with the correct supplies and materials.</li>
<li>Manage quarterly KPIs to support company goals.</li>
</ul>
Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
<ul><li>Organizational skills.</li>
<li>Must possess professional communication &amp; writing skills.</li>
<li>Must be a self-starter and willing to work with minimal supervision.</li>
<li>Problem Resolution Skills</li>
<li>Computer skills (Internet and Prism Software preferred)</li>
<li>Must be computer literate with MS Word, Excel and Outlook</li>
<li>Logistics and Intermodal experience preferred.</li>
<li>Perform other related duties as assigned.</li>

Minimum Qualifications:
<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED</li>
<li>Must be dependable and able to work independently.</li>
