Job Description 
We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our Construction Supervision team, overseeing the delivery of villa developments and residential communities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all structural works are executed in accordance with the contract documents, approved drawings, project specifications, applicable codes, and quality standards.
Working closely with the Resident Engineer and multidisciplinary site team, the Structural Engineer will monitor construction activities, review contractor submissions, inspect structural works, and ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality project delivery from foundation works through to handover.
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Supervise all structural construction activities for villa developments, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and applicable local authority regulations.</li><li>
Conduct regular site inspections of excavation, foundations, reinforced concrete, structural steel (where applicable), retaining walls, and other structural elements.</li><li>
Review and provide technical comments on shop drawings, reinforcement detailing, material submittals, method statements, and Requests for Information.</li><li>
Verify reinforcement installation, concrete placement, formwork, post-tensioning (where applicable), and structural connections prior to construction activities.</li><li>
Witness inspections and testing of structural materials including concrete, reinforcement steel, grout, and other structural components.</li><li>
Monitor contractor workmanship and ensure compliance with project quality plans, Inspection and Test Plans, and health and safety requirements.</li><li>
Identify construction issues and coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, geotechnical specialists, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical and interface challenges.</li><li>
Prepare site inspection reports, non-conformance reports, site instructions, and monitor timely close-out of corrective actions.</li><li>
Review progress against the project and highlight potential risks or delays affecting structural works.</li><li>
Verify completed structural works for interim payment applications and provide recommendations to the Resident Engineer.</li><li>
Participate in coordination meetings, progress reviews, technical workshops, and client meetings as required.</li></ul> 

Qualifications 
<ul><li>
Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.</li><li>
Minimum 7&ndash;12 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in construction supervision of villa developments, residential communities, or low-rise building projects.</li><li>
UAE or GCC construction supervision experience is highly preferred.</li></ul>
