<li>Slope Monitoring Implementation
<ul><li>Ensure all slope faces are inspected and managed to mitigate loose rockmass hazards in alignment with site safety standards.</li>
<li>Provide timely ground condition updates to support mine planning and operational decision-making.</li>
<li>Assess and identify suitable areas for installing Prisms and Crackmeters.</li>
<li>Install, set up, and maintain geotechnical monitoring systems (Prisms, VWPs, Surface Extensometers, etc.) in accordance with approved procedures.</li>
<li>Support Geotechnical and Hydrogeology Engineers with mapping, sampling, pit and dump inspections and field-testing activities.</li>
<li>Capture Sirovision-compliant stereo photographs for all pits.</li>
<li>Capture drone footage and video as directed by the supervisor or designated lead.</li>
<li>Reconcile geotechnical hazards raised versus controlled by collaborating with Mine Pit Superintendents and Supervisors.</li>
<li>Update the Hazard Map with new Hazard Alerts at the end of each swing and ensure visibility across all designated notice boards.</li>
<li>Perform weekly Radar health checks and support Radar deployments as required.</li>
<li>Perform weekly GeoMOS health checks and escalate issues where necessary.</li></ul></li><br>

Essential Function</b><br>

<ul><li>Plan and coordinate site studies.</li><li>Perform geotechnical/geological evaluations.</li><li>Perform and oversee field explorations and sample collections.</li><li>Perform engineering analyses and calculations.</li><li>Write, prepare and review proposals and reports for projects of varying size and complexity.</li><li>Effectively interact and communicate with clients and staff.</li><li>Supervise and mentor work of other professionals, technical and support staff.</li><li>Follow safety rules and standards for all projects.</li><li>Engage in additional duties as assigned by supervisor.</li></ul><br>
</div><ul><li>5-10 years of experience in the engineering consulting industry.</li><li>MS degree, Geotechnical Engineering (preferred).</li><li>Passed FE Exam and eligible for PE exam (or already obtained PE).</li><li>Experience on geotechnical projects utilizing multiple deep foundation and ground improvement systems.</li><li>Excellent writing, organizational, and communications skills are essential.</li><li>Must be personable and able to communicate with clients and staff at all levels.</li><li>This position requires critical thinking and analysis; frequent sitting, standing, walking, and bending; working in all weather conditions; and driving to and from project sites.<br>
