The Geotechnical Engineer is responsible for performing subsurface investigations, engineering analyses and evaluations related to site development projects, forensic investigations and/or to support design plans such as earth retaining structures, on-site wastewater treatment and disposal and foundation underpinning. Responsibilities may also include performing construction phase testing and inspections.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Perform routine and complex field exploration programs for a wide range of project types.
</li><li>Efficiently communicate field investigation instructions to drilling/subcontractor based on the project geotechnical scope.</li><li>
Oversee engineering services during construction on projects involving shallow and deep foundations, support of excavations and earthwork operations.
</li><li>Communicate field results during subsurface explorations with the project team and/or client, as required.
</li><li>Prepare field boring/test pit logs on a variety of projects to document subsurface composition and groundwater levels.</li><li>
Download field data and performing geotechnical engineering analyses and evaluation of the subsurface conditions to develop design recommendations and overall development considerations.</li><li>
Coordinate laboratory testing program based on the field results.
</li><li>Prepare construction phase inspection data reports with engineering observations and test results for review by project managers and supervisors</li><li>
Prepare initial geotechnical engineering reports with complied field investigation data and engineering analysis for review by project managers and supervisors.</li><li>
Perform reviews of project documents to identify geotechnical considerations.</li><li>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Civil Engineering, Soil Science, Geology or related engineering field; geotechnical engineering concentration preferred.</li><li>
0 -3 years&rsquo; experience in geotechnical consulting, construction material inspections or laboratory testing. Beneficial experience includes classifying soils in accordance with USDA or USCS, understanding and directing subsurface explorations, performing laboratory testing, and compiling data.</li><li>
0-3 years&rsquo; experience in construction phase testing and inspection, including subgrade preparation, foundation installation inspection, fill placement testing, retaining wall construction oversight, soil stabilization oversight, concrete sampling and testing, reinforcing steel inspection, communicating with contractors and daily report preparation.</li><li>
Ability to work outdoors and in an office setting, as required.</li><li>
 Engineer in Training (EIT) preferred or have the ability to obtain EIT certificate.</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license required.</li><li>
Ability to maintain and operate personal and/or company vehicle.</li><li>

The Role</div><div>
The Design Engineer will support geotechnical delivery across secured Dubai projects, including Project M1 and QIC MBS Stadium. The role focuses on geotechnical analysis, reporting, and design development under senior supervision, ensuring timely and technically sound project outputs within a high-utilisation team environment.</div><div></div><div>
Key Responsibilities</div><ul><li>
Prepare geotechnical analyses, calculations, and technical reports.</li><li>
Support foundation, shoring, and earthworks design activities.</li><li>
Coordinate with senior engineers on technical inputs and design revisions.</li><li>
Respond to technical queries and support construction-stage matters.</li><li>
Assist with data interpretation and production of project documentation.</li></ul><div></div><div>
Key Qualifications and Experience</div><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.</li><li>
Experience in geotechnical analysis and reporting.</li><li>
Exposure to foundation and earthworks design.</li><li>
Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams.</li></ul><div></div><div>
Key Knowledge and Skills</div><ul><li>
Strong understanding of geotechnical engineering principles.</li><li>
Ability to prepare clear and accurate technical documentation.</li><li>
Analytical and problem-solving capability.</li><li>
Good coordination and communication skills.</li><li>
