JOB DUTIES</b></p><p><b>
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
</b></p><p>Under direction of a Golf Course Superintendent, Foreman or Golf Course Worker II or I, performs assigned tasks involved with the care and maintenance of golf courses and surrounding facilities, including park facilities.</p><p>
Performs turf maintenance functions. Operates related equipment such as tractors, riding mowers, hand mowers, weed eaters, edgers, blowers, and sand pros. Lifts over 50 pounds to unload and load mowers.</p><p>
Required to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays.</p><p>
Keeps the clubhouse area, driving range area and maintenance area in a neat and orderly
</p><p>condition.</p><p>
Operates a motor vehicle to assist in carrying out the business of the department and the City</p><p>
Using excellent customer service skills, establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other employees, officials, and all members of the general public.
</p><p>Drives City vehicles such as pick-up trucks and one ton trucks.</p><p>
Changes putting green cups, top dresses greens and other turf areas.</p><p>
Responsible for seeding and irrigation. Using a shovel, digs up irrigation lines from ground level to four feet in depth; replaces PVC pipe and sprinklers. Using a shovel, loads tricksters with sand and dirt.</p><p>
Applies fertilizer by lifting 50-pound bags of fertilizer into a hopper and pushing 50-pound hand spreaders.</p><p>
Performs litter control tasks including picking up barrels and loading them onto the truck.</p><p>
Cleans golf course facilities and rest rooms using cleaning supplies as directed.</p><p>
Brings golf carts up to pro shop in the morning.
</p><p>Cleans, fuels and checks carts after each use.</p><p>
Often performs work on hands and knees.</p><p>
Operates noisy, self propelled mowing equipment.</p><p>
Works around the public in a safe and courteous manner.</p><p>
Attendance at work is an essential function of this position.</p><p><b>

Oki Golf

As the Golf Landscaper/Greenskeeper at Trophy Lake Golf and Casting, (under the supervision of the golf course superintendent, assistant superintendent, or foreman) you will perform routine manual labor involved in and/or related to golf course maintenance (performing semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance work).
