Position Overview and Responsibilities: 
This is a highly responsible administrative position that functions with a high degree of visibility to the Emergency Communications Board and with all Florida 911 county coordinators. An employee in this position provides administrative, contractual and managerial support to Florida county 911 systems. The selected candidate will provide contractual support to the counties, review grant applications for compliance with state requirements, review and approve grant reimbursement packages submitted by counties, perform database queries to generate reports for agency staff, travel arrangements and other administrative functions in support of the Emergency Communications Board and DMS-DIVTEL 911 section. 


Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Provide contractual guidance to counties to assist in their submission of their grant applications. 
Assist in the review of grants applications submitted for the Rural County and State 911 grant programs and provide feedback to applicants to ensure grant requests are in compliance with Florida Emergency Communications Board rules for grant applications. 


Assist the 911 section in the administration of grants to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements. 
Review incoming quarterly reports and provide a quarterly summary to the Statewide 911 Coordinator. 
Utilize existing forms in Microsoft Access to generate reports needed by DMS management in support of the Florida Emergency Communications Board 


Prepare grant agreements for awarded grants and send to the counties for completion.. 
Completes required documentations needed as part of the grant administration process 
Coordinate with county 911 coordinators on required documentation to process their requests for reimbursement. 
Prepares grant reimbursement request package for final approval by senior 911 staff. 
Review counties Annual Comprehensive Financial Reports (ACFR) submitted by the counties. Reports audit findings related to the 911 programs to the Statewide 911 Coordinator. 


Assist in the transport, setup, and operation of audio equipment in support of board meetings. 
May rarely be required to work overtime. 
Researches and submits information to the Board on topics related to Next Generation-911 (NG-911). 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

This includes consultation with content experts, overseeing script writing, selecting actors and talent, story-boarding scenes, audio engineering, post-production operations, DVD authoring, web-based video output and execution of the program. Oversees all operations, maintenance and procedures of WFSH Channel 2 CCTV signals (incoming and outgoing), and routing schedules. This includes responding to duplication requests, inventory stock of duplication media, distribution of video programs and maintaining an updated inventory of recorded and edited master video tapes.</li>
<li>Assists with identifying and analyzing areas within the hospital and works with management to develop resources (training videos, Presenter training, web-based training modules, Photoshop graphics, Channel 2, flyers, etc.) to address deficit areas on an ongoing basis. Research on an on-going basis information related to technological advances and system requirements.</li>
<li>Responds to requests for Professional Development and Training media productions and to support and coordinate other mediums used, such as: posters, covers, flyers, video calendars, etc. Acts as quality controller for WFSH Channel 2 CCTV equipment,</li>
<li>Produces Hospital newsletter. Provides audio/visual technical services. Operates satellite downlink. Installs video/audio equipment as needed. Repairs video/audio equipment as needed. Designs lighting schemes and ensures that all technical studio control room equipment is functioning properly. Your Specific Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications:

Four years of direct experience or a bachelor&rsquo;s degree can substitute for experience. 


Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in law, criminal justice, criminology, archives, records management, history, public history, library science, or one of the social sciences.</div>

At least one (1) year of full-time professional work experience in a setting that required customer service and technical assistance</div>

Coursework or workshops in law, archives or records management outside of a completed degree or certification.</div>

Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinates Capital Postconviction Records Repository activities, including accessioning, processing, reproduction, delivery to counsel of capital post convictions public records, and court-ordered shipment to the trial court of exempt record.
Develops specialized finding aids, guides, indexes and descriptive materials for Capital Postconviction collections.
Develops filing arrangements for the physical and intellectual placement of complex records systems within the State Archives&rsquo; Capital Postconviction holdings

Responds to telephone, mail and email requests for information about the programs or activities of the section and serves as main point of contact for Capital Postconviction inquiries. Recommends to and informs Supervisor of processing needs and priorities for Capital Postconviction collection.
Assists in providing technical assistance to municipal, county and state government agencies about archival resources, manuscript management, and the care and use of records with extended or permanent retention.
Provides constant monitoring of state-of-the-art techniques and practices for archival management. Maintains a high level of expertise through training courses, information exchange, reading and research. Performs other work-related duties as required.
