Job Description 
The Graphic Artist/Animator is a key member of the NBC News Artworks team, responsible for creating high-quality on-air and digital graphics under tight daily deadlines. This role supports live and taped programming across NBC News platforms, including NBC Nightly News, Today, Meet the Press, NBC News Now, and special news coverage.
Graphic Artists collaborate closely with Art Directors, Producers, Editors, and Graphics Operations to translate editorial concepts into clear, accurate, and visually compelling visuals that support NBC News&rsquo; journalistic mission.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>
Design and produce daily broadcast graphics including lower thirds, full-screen graphics, charts, maps, timelines, explainer graphics, and election-related visuals</li><li>
Create animated graphic elements to support storytelling across shows and platforms</li><li>
Execute graphics for breaking news, live shows, and special coverage under tight deadlines</li><li>
Partner with Art Directors and Producers to interpret scripts and editorial needs into visual storytelling</li><li>

Qualifications
