The Greenskeeper is responsible for maintaining golf course playing surfaces to the highest standards possible. This position focuses on daily turfgrass maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and bunkers to ensure exceptional playing conditions and an outstanding golfer experience.
Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities
Turf &amp; Playing Surface Maintenance<ul><li>
Mow greens, tees, fairways, and rough according to daily setup schedules</li><li>
Change cups and set tee markers to provide fair, balanced course setup</li><li>
Rake and maintain bunkers to ensure consistent playability</li><li>
Edge yardage markers, bunkers, and sprinkler heads</li><li>
Monitor turf health and report stress, disease, irrigation issues, or damage</li></ul>
Agronomic Practices<ul><li>
Assist with aerification, verticutting, topdressing, overseeding, and fertilization</li><li>
Operate irrigation heads and assist in hand-watering as needed</li><li>
Apply fertilizers and plant protectants under supervision
</li><li>Assist with moisture management and firmness control on greens</li></ul>
Equipment Operation &amp; Maintenance<ul><li>
Safely operate mowers, rollers, blowers, trimmers, utility vehicles, and other equipment</li><li>
Perform daily cleaning and inspection of equipment</li><li>
Report mechanical issues promptly</li></ul>
General Responsibilities<ul><li>
Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the course at all times</li><li>
Remove debris, leaves, and trash from course grounds</li><li>
Assist with snow removal (if applicable)</li><li>
Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations</li></ul>
Work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications<ul><li>
Previous golf course or landscaping experience preferred but not required</li><li>
Knowledge of turfgrass maintenance practices preferred</li><li>
Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license preferred</li><li>
Pesticide applicator license (or ability to obtain) preferred</li></ul>

<ul><li>Performs day to day grounds functions as assigned. Performs specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments.</li>

<li>Is responsible for all snow removal and salting of parking lots and walkways.</li>
<li>Assures that all ERS grounds are cleaned daily and maintained in a safe manner. Removes trash or debris from grounds on a daily basis.</li>
<li>Assists residents and directs the residents during emergencies and/or evacuations.</li>
<li>Assists the maintenance department as directed by supervisor.</li>
<li>Attends in-services, educational sessions, and other meetings including resident grounds committee meetings.</li>
<li>Drives company vehicles and valet parks guest cars as required.</li>
<li>Coordinates daily grounds duties with residents, as not to disturb them (when directly involving the residents&rsquo; property).</li>

Ensures the physical aspects of the community are maintained and standards are met regarding the grounds, amenities and overall curb appeal and provides support to the service team members
JOB DESCRIPTION
Essential Responsibilities: 
1. Inspects the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings and ensure all common areas and amenities are neat and free of litter at all times.
2. Removes trash and remaining items from vacant apartments prior to starting the make-ready process, transfers trash to dumpster or storage area as applicable, and cleans and maintains storage areas. 
3. Completes assigned minor and routine service requests as requested by Service Supervisor and/or Community Manager, and assists the make-ready specialist in the turn process. 
4. Changes all locks in accordance with the property&rsquo;s policy and ensure gates to all pool areas are working according to codes and safety standards. 
5. Distributes notices and communications to residents as necessary. 
6. Informs appropriate supervisors of any observed hazard or potentially dangerous situation for residents, team members, guests and others. 
7. Demonstrates customer services skills by treating residents and others with respect, answering resident questions, and responding sensitively to complaints about maintenance services. 
8. Complies with Greystar&rsquo;s safety and risk-management policies by attending and participating in the property&rsquo;s routine safety meetings, completing required training on OSHA and other safety related laws and requirements, and by reporting accidents and incidents promptly and accurately.<div> 
Required Licenses or Certifications:

This project supports land stewardship, habitat restoration, and boundary management efforts through hands-on fieldwork. Crew members will conduct vegetation removal, invasive species management, and trail maintenance using hand tools, power equipment, and GPS technology to document and maintain project sites. Work includes surveying and clearing property boundaries, installing boundary markers, and removing debris or outdated infrastructure. Crews will also support habitat restoration by planting native vegetation, spreading pollinator seed, and implementing erosion control measures. These activities contribute directly to fish and wildlife management goals while maintaining safe, accessible, and well-delineated public lands.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Perform field-based conservation work, including vegetation removal, invasive species management, trail maintenance, and boundary clearing. Safely use hand tools, power tools, and power equipment (e.g., chainsaws, trimmers, pole saws) on varied terrain, including slopes and uneven ground. Collect and record field data using GPS units, maps, and notebooks to document boundaries, site conditions, and invasive species removal. Support boundary management by locating monuments, clearing vegetation along boundary lines, installing boundary markers, and removing old fencing or debris. Assist with habitat restoration projects by planting native trees and shrubs, spreading pollinator seed, and implementing erosion and trail stabilization measures. Carry out physically demanding tasks such as walking long distances, kneeling, standing, and lifting or carrying 20&ndash;30 pound loads.

Marginal Duties
Participate in safety briefings, trainings, and daily tailgate meetings to ensure safe work practices. Assist with basic maintenance, cleaning, and storage of tools, equipment, and vehicles. Travel to and from project sites and assist with loading, unloading, and staging equipment and materials. Support team coordination by assisting crew leaders and working collaboratively with crew members. Communicate courteously with supervisors, land managers, and members of the public as needed while working on public lands. Complete basic documentation, data entry, or reporting related to field activities. Adapt to changing work conditions, weather, and project priorities as assigned. Perform other related duties as assigned to support project goals.

Required Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age. Must wear required attire by SCA while on duty. Must possess and maintain valid driver's license. Possess excellent verbal and written communications skills. Physical ability to navigate roads and park areas, as well as trails and wooded areas, lift 50 lbs. and carry 50 lb. object 25 feet. Position may require extended periods outdoors during adverse conditions such as heat, cold or rain. Must use and wear appropriate safety equipment such as eye and ear protection, gloves, etc.

Living Accommodations
